    Hi Mary, Man that sucks about your kid. My first thought was maybe you guys could talk to the hospital and ask for suggestions. They normally have people who assist you or will point you in the direction. Maybe City, or town or state can help some too. Keep asking but my guess is the hospital will know.

    Guess what folks. It is snowing. Not the light kind but rather large heavy wet kind of snow. Looks like it will be a long hard winter.

    Now look here, darlin... find yourself a high school kid to shovel that snow for you. They need the $$$ (and exercise, no doubt) and you need their services, so don't be stubborn and try to do it yourself.

    Nice to see you posting again... we missed ya while you were gone!! ***married man cheek smooch***

    (BTW, it's 82 here, on the way up to 87. Winter? Whassat?)

    Thank you kindly darlin. I am feeling a lot better now that I am back on my feet again. I have all of that bed that I can stand. Hopefully that darned nerve went back where it belongs. I really didn't look forward to back surgery. The real snow won't start untill later tonight. Now 4 inches aint so bad, but 8 inches of more, now that is a different story. Especially the drifts. Now I asm right sorry to hear about big Tex getting all fired up like that. He should have known better than to be playing with matches.

    Well it is now 4:18 pm and the temp is now 39 and doing a nose dive. When I went to get Linda at 3:00 pm it had stopped snowing. When I looked at the mountains and hills around us they were all white, yep winter is now officially here about two months early. What's next.

    I'm envious of your beautiful view, sweetie... but you can keep the snow. Supposed to get bone-chillin cold here by the weekend... down to 40 at night and 60 during the day. Purt near a blizzard. [​IMG]

    Don't worry about the double post... I double liked it. Gotta play the hand you're dealt. ;)

    We do as well. Warm down comforter, windows open for a cool breeze....ah, it doesn't get any better than that.
    Unless its an ocean view and such. Yup, that should do it.
    No snow to shovel OT, what do you think? No need for mittens either.

    No snow here, plz... just COFFEE!!

    'morning folks. Heard a synopsis of the now-closed fair this morning.

    "The lagoon was lit up, Big Tex burned up and the Stratosphere hung up. All in all, it was an interesting run."

    LOL, same day we were there, one of the rides got stuck with people at the very top... took them over 2-1/2 hrs to get 'em down. One lady said she just rode the thing to get over her fear of heights. Yeah, like that worked!!! :shocked:

    Have a good one, y'all! Don't strain too hard... it's only Tuesday. :(
