It said I'm a Hershey bar. Although it didn't elaborate, I'm guessing with almonds.

 

Definitely a higher quality treat than Nerds. I have M&Ms, plain & peanut... in case there are any trick or treaters. Let's see, Friday night... HS football stadium (which will be rocking) just up the street, middle school a block away. No little kids in the neighborhood...

Nahhh, I prob won't even turn on the porch light. I can always take the M&Ms to work. Those people eat ANYTHING.

Couldn't stand it because my new car was dirty, so stopped at a carwash on the way home and gave it a quick wash. Little bitty car... I put $2 in the meter and had to turn it off with 4 min left. Roomie wiped it down for me when I got home and it's showroom shiny.

Did I mention it's fixin to rain?

Oh well, Max can thank me for the rain we need so bad. Just wash the car and it's sure to move in.

I picked and fried a mess of green tomatoes this mornin' and took them to
Pinochle. Ever'body was pleased. Served them with Cholula.

Here's what I did. It's soo easy!

3 shots of Kentucky Bourbon. (internally) Don't waste it on the 'maters.

A bunch of green and just pink tomatoes.

The Wet

3 shots of Kentucky Bourbon. (internally)

3 Aigs
1/2 cup of milk
a BIG pinch of Kosher salt, maybe a teaspoon+ Don't be skeert of salt.
A few shakes of ground pepper (fresh cracked is too much for me. I don't like
biting into a pepper corn)

3 shots of Kentucky Bourbon. (internally)

Mix it up

3 shots of Kentucky Bourbon. (internally)

The Dry
1 cup Flour
1 cup Corn meal
Garlic powder, maybe a teaspoon. I just made sure the flour and
corn meal was lightly covered.
Cayenne. Enough to see it really good.
A couple of big pinches of Kosher salt.

3 shots of Kentucky Bourbon. (internally)

Mix it up

3 shots of Kentucky Bourbon. (internally)

Vegetable oil, about 1/4 to 1/3 inch. Medium high (the flame just touches
the bottom of the skillet.

Slice them the way you like'em. It don't matter. Put about 8 in the wet. Wait
about 3 or 4 minutes. Using your wet hand, put the 'mater slice in the dry.
Using your Dry hand cover the 'mater with the stuff and turn it over. Make
sure it's covered. Carefully put it in the skillet. If it doesn't start sizzlin' then you
need to turn up the heat. The oil shouldn't smoke. If you feel pain take your
hand out of the skillet.

Add about 7 more, depending upon your skillet size.

3 shots of Kentucky Bourbon. (internally)

After 3 minutes look at the first one you put in. Is it a golden brown?
If so, turn it over and do the same to the others. I look at each one and
decide what I think. When they is done put them in another pot and keep
them warm in the oven. '250 is good.

Wait for the oil to get back up to temp. Do it again.

3 shots of Kentucky Bourbon. (internally)

Serve with your favorite hot sauce, peanut butter and the
rest of your Kentucky Bourbon.

 

Somebody has been drinkin' a little bit.
