    I sometimes buy bottled water, but more for the bottle than the water inside it! I like having a small bottle of water with a sports cap handy in the car, but I only buy a new one when the old one is getting a bit battered, then fill it up from the tap (sorry - faucet - forgot about that!) for the next few months. I'm due for a new one soon, I think - the current one has lasted about a year, I think.

    So you have a fancy toidy, do you?
    Water can be different within a few miles. While some actually has a high sulfur content, others have little to none, and one mile down the road, iron content is just awful.
    City water is an insult to my taste buds, and also has quite a yuk factor build in. Not only can't I stand the necessary chlorination, but the thought...oh, I can't even go there.
    Many people living in rural settings have their own wells, some by necessity, others by preference.
    And then there are those who fetch fresh mountain spring water for consumption. Now that is some yummy stuff, although with some mineral content.
    What helps in most cases is reverse osmosis. Its great for coffee and tea especially.


    Bottles should be refilled as long as possible. Half ice half water works great for the summer.
    Sports bottles work great as well, fit in the mug holder just fine.

    they use bacteria to clean the pipe water so that may be why it has bad taste, would like to go to canada and drink water ripe from the fountain springs in the earth
