    Thirty five degrees and mixed snow and rain. I should have stayed in Texas. Oh well, heading for Florida in two and a half days. Coming back to Long Island for Thanksgiving and then going down for the season right after Christmas.

    Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry for posting it here. I thought it was kinda cute, didn't even think of the political stuff.

    I hope SMW is okay. Haven't seen her but once today. Maybe that Rangers loss is taking it's toll. Heck, they are something to be proud of!

    Geesh, can't believe you guys are getting snow already. Hope you keep it up there!

    Had a movie-a-thon this afternoon. I'm not real big on movies, but once in a while, decide to catch up on what everybody else's been talking about for the last year. Watched Angels & Demons... mainly because I started the book in Galveston, made it half way thru and haven't picked it up again since I got home. As always, disappointing... the book's much better. I'll have to finish it now.

    Watched bits & pieces of the first Twilight movie and have to admit... it's pretty dang awesome! Love the special effects. Might have to catch some sequels.

    Did the Italian thing for dinner... spaghetti & meatballs, green salad, garlic bread... a little vino. Delish!

    What'd y'all have?

    What's a - Dive Bar -.? I never really understood what was meant by
    a Bar that was a dive,either.Like at the bottom er somethin'.
    Like the pits.But pits have nothing to do to with depth.
    Maybe a bar that has No Windows.
    No stall doors in the men's room.
    Sawdust on the floor.
    Smells faintly of stale beer with fumes of puke/urine.
    Fights regularly break out.
    Noted for huge glass jugs of pickled eggs and loads of
    plastic wrapped delicacies like Slim Jims.
    Glassware has permanent hue of fingerprints from last patrons.

    I think I got it ... by golly.
