Uh oh. I called in this morning and there's nothing that decadent in the house to eat. Go ahead and do the peach pie... don't wanna waste Shangrila's run on oatmeal and wheat toast.

Hmmmm, a run on the beach huh? This is my fav view when I'm at the beach. Wishing I was there...

 

I've got far too many things I would do with that money to list here, and probably shouldn't list here....

In the forest, I'd holler at hubby to bring his bow and go get me something to eat....LOL

 

Yeah, hubby would have to build something, for sure. I could make do with a canopy of trees and limbs until we had food and water. I'd start looking for firewood and rocks to make a fire pit. Since he always accidentally steals my lighters from me, I'd search his pockets and start a fire...LOL

 

Ugh. This convo reminds me of work retreats.

Just pass me the bottle and I'll watch y'all do the consciousness-raising exercises.

Dual Survival...I love that show. Haven't seen it aired in a while, though. I always liked the hippy guy. He lives totally off the grid somewhere in the Arizona desert. They are quite a pair, to be so different.

The first thing I would do is seek some kind of shelter, such as a cave. Secondly I would look for water. After that I would look for a tree that I could perhaps put together some kind of shelter while I also worked on a more permanent tree house kind. In the woods there are always fruit, nuts and berries. Just watch what the animals eat, if they eat it so can you. Last I would start thinking about weapons of some kind.

If I could fly there wouldn't be any need to do any of the above now would there. And as far as sex goes, well just draw your own conclusions.

Nice sick day. I feel much better. Will prob be able to drag my self to work tomorrow since it's TGIF and we usually go out to lunch and leave early.

just to make the fantasy more realistic, but for 150,000,000 would find ways to protect like putting it into treasury bonds , and state bonds, and try to live off the interest payments. thats basically what a financial advisor would counsel.

other than that, maybe keep 1,000,000 in the checking, and use that for possibly traveling, toys, escorts, and purchasing private health insurance.

Question#2. Look for a nimble vine maybe? Something that can easily wrap around the throat without breaking.

 

Buy a nice house with plenty of land (in Wales, and probably one in Scotland too), within walking distance of a decent pub! I'd spend my time working on the land, growing my own food as far as possible, and just walking the dogs and enjoying it - I'm not someone who could really be 'idle rich', but at the same time I'm not really interested in becoming a major business player or anything. I'd be looking to start a number of various small businesses (pubs, small breweries, and anything else that took my fancy), possibly in partnerships with 'active' partners who want to run them, more to give other people jobs (especially in rural areas where work is hardest to find) than to make lots of money (I'd be happy as long as they broke even) - with that kind of money, I'd never need to worry about making any more, and I've got no interest in living an extravagent lifestyle with helicopters and mansions and so on.

Build a shelter, and then start trying to remember what things I can get food from!
