Peanut Butter is still useful plus the empty jars are great for holding spare change and loose nuts'n'bolts.

Made it home! Wow, my house looks HUGE after living in one room!
Flight was full... Americans are business as usual... even on 9/11! Good for us. :)

    "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)"

    Istanbul was Constantinople
    Now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Now it's Turkish delight on a moonlit night

    Every gal in Constantinople
    Lives in Istanbul, not Constantinople
So if you've a date in Constantinople
    She'll be waiting in Istanbul

Even old New York was once New Amsterdam
Why they changed it I can't say
People just liked it better that way

So take me back to Constantinople
No, you can't go back to Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Why did Constantinople get the works?
That's nobody's business but the Turks

Love those fashion experts, esp the Robertson fan.

LOL, what phonies. Reminds me of myself ordering wine in a fancy restaurant. You know, that moment when a snooty waiter sez, "Any preference of chardonnay?" And you want to say, no... whatever box you've got open will do.

Solved that problem this trip... remembered one of the divas ordering Kendall-Jackson so that's what I requested. Ten bucks a glass. She (& I) have expensive taste. ;)

Probably a good choice. If in doubt, flatter the waiter with "what would you recommend"?

Wouldn't this be a wonderful world if people would admit they don't know
something/someone? Of course it would make Kimmel's job a lot harder.

I hope she doesn't notice that a few things are missing. I needed
some emergency cash to pay my tab.

That works nicely. Currently, my shop is a mess. I need to organize it better. I have the necessary accessories, just the lack of will to clean it up!

A good choice if a female or even a young Kardashian.Even the older
Kardashian toots prefers the red stuff { Fine red Wine }.
Chardonnay tends to lend itself to hangover more because of it's higher
    concentration of sugars, over tannins.
Really cheap wine like Blue Nun is guaranteed to produce some kind of hangover.
due to it's high sugar content. You might say, then that explains stuff like Thunderbird
or MD 20/20. No ... those are high alcohol { 17-20% alc. } renditions of wine that
have been boosted or fortified with additional sugars and flavors. Not to be confused with
Port wine which is boosted by the addition of brandy.
Chardonnay once the most popular varietal { 10 years ago } has declined because
of overproduction and price point.Too many inexpensive and lackluster ones
and the good ones are all bought up or priced too high.
Same thing with Cabernet and Pinot Noir.
Let's say you won the Lotto { Millions } and decided you wanted to get at least
one bottle of the finest { say Romanee-Conti } FORGET aboud it.Their all
purchased through tightly controlled private sales by the big auction houses
thru wine agents in London and New York. The Asians are the ones most
greedy and gallop them up.Used to be Chateau Lafite, and now it's the
    Great burgundies like Romanee-Conti.
    A 1988 12 bottle case sold for $ 147,ooo less fees.
A 6 bottle case of 2009 Romanee-Conti was purchased by an Asian
bidder for $ 79,625 at Sotheby's in New York last December.

    Where are you at???

A little rain coming to the Dallas-Ft Worth area with a high of 67F today! Woot!

I planned on mowing my acreage, but, depending on how much it rains, may have to wait until tomorrow.

Snow?? Time for a fire in the fireplace, TF! I'll bring the marshmallows!

    Good morning, y'all... happy Friday!

Thx for the wine lesson, foolie. That's how rich folks catch a buzz. Much classier than Miller Lite, eh?

Luvin the cooler temps, Max! How nice to come home to... hope it lasts! (Yeah, right)

Last vac day. Ran outta stuff to post on FB... might as well go back to work. :(
