Well there is a slight possibility of that happening. It depends on when I haul my butt out of bed in the morning.

What is chili meat and aside from the beans what am I doing wrong? I wanna learn how to make Texas chili. I will never eat chili out of a can. Gravy in a jar is never ever allowed in my house. Frozen Italian dinners are not allowed also. Not as long as Im alive anyway.

Im gonna make Texas style chili. I need a recipe. They loved the chicken fried steak, although I needed to make the mashed potatahs and didnt. I think Ill make chicken fried steak Saturday with gravy and mashed patatah and Texas chili Sunday.

Who wants to give me a recipe?

About that chili, falena. Sorry, I'm not a chili-cooker. That's why I suggested Wolf Brand. Everytime I've ever made it, I've slaved over the stove all day only to think it didn't taste as good as Wolf Brand. So I finally gave up. When I gotta have chili, it's gotta be Wolf Brand!

Could I mail ya a can or two and you try to guess how to make it from scratch?

This works when I'm in the mood for pizza.

Mmmmm, "How long's it been since you had a big ole steamin bowl of Wolf Brand Chili? Well, that's too long!"

LOL, I've heard that ad all my life. Never ceases to make my mouth water. ;)

Believe it or not, but I have seen snow here in Jackson each and every month of the year. It is not unusual for it to snow here in October. I just hope that you also like really cold temps. It is not unusual for the temperature to get down to 20 below and even colder. Around here we consider anything above zero in the winter time to be considered spring time. But be warned, a house that costs 200,000 some place else will more than likely run at least 500,000 + here. Last year the average cost of a home here was a million dollars.

But you can put chiles in chili, can't ya?
You are right, canned stuff isn't really allowed here either, unless I dunnit myself.
Best way to make chili is by preparing large amounts. It just tastes better that way. Freezes well too.
Y'all are making me very hungry now.
