    This was taken at the mud volcano area. It is right next to the sulpher flats area and the smell between the two smells a lot like rotten eggs. Neat to sea but bad to breath.

    To make it even worse i am surrounded by rabid Pats fans. I don't hate the team as much as I dislike the fans of the team Ugh.

    Oh well, I guess there is always next year.


    Or I could root for the Lions.

    So I walked into the most beautiful sunrise I have seen in a long time. A bit of fog about as well, the smell of fall, everything still quiet, nature awakening for another day.
    Its worth getting up a bit early to take it all in. Good for the soul.

    Ok Yankee Columbus Day story.

    We have a Columbus Day parade that goes right by our street. Actually they have the signs up now. I had a neighbor who I knew since I was a baby. She was a fireball. She said the most outrageous things that you could not help but laugh at. So we all go up the hill to watch the parade. We set up chairs and have the big Italian flag to wave. The bands come by and the mayor and then this group of people dressed like native Americans. My neighbor is sitting in her chair and one of the Indian guys looks at us and lifts up his hand and says, "how". My neighbor gets up out of her lawn chair and says really loud...." Come meer...Ill show you how". They hugged each other and we were all laughing so hard. One time she was sending her grandkid off to school after a big fight the kid had with her mom. Grandma was on the front porch and said..."Wait a minute honey I have something for you". Then she lifts up her smock and flashes her ass in old lady underwear. God rest her soul!

    It was great! Perfect weather, good friends, and Ruby enjoyed herself, too! The rally brought in lots of bikes and folks. Nice and quiet this week..LOL

    Glad you had a good time! The fall weather is getting here too. Leaves are finally starting to change! Made chili for dinner last night, (with beans, don't tell Smartie) and had cornbread too! Love colder nights!

    I've had the windows open for the past month or so, and we've gotten down in the 30's a couple of nights, but it's good sleeping weather. This week is perfect fall weather. I'm just glad we're getting more than a week of fall this year. Seems like the past few years, we've had a few days of fall-like weather then straight into winter. I don't expect our colors are going to be too brilliant this year since it was so hot and the lack of rain in the summer. But, I'll take what we get.

    You know the thing I remember most vividly about last winter was going under my awning at 3 in the morning in a blizzard trying to light a blackandmild and setting some hair on fire. True story

    LOL....you're playing my song, g/f! I feel like I should be skipping down a golden path with a ruffled skirt, frilly socks and mary janes on my feet...LMAO! Somebody please stop me if I do any of those things.

    It really sucks when a person goes to light 'something' and nose hairs get singed, too.
