Then you have no evidence for your claim. Solar represents 75% of NEW capacity in the US in 2024, and this trend will continue in 2025.

We shall see. I expect gas and nuclear will be unfettered.

Nuclear has much more DOWN time as it ages, until it finally has to be decommissioned. Then the oft-mentioned long-term MESS has to be kept secure for hundreds of thousands of years.

Some nuclear power plants are being re-commissioned. Imagine that. The only mess associated with nuclear waste is political.

Congratulations. You have written a post that is entirely false.

Post your link then. Your parading of falsities is getting repetitious.

The last major update I added to this thread was that US solar capacity will be up about 25% in 2024, Does any other power source even come close to that increase?

    https://arstechnica.com/science/2024/07/us-solar-production-soars-by-25-percent-in-just-one-year/

US solar production soars by 25 percent in just one year
2024 is seeing the inevitable outcome of the building boom in solar farms

Yep, Natural Gas is the cheapest. However it results in CO 2 emissions. That said, because of it’s efficiency, it’s the best fossil fuel backup for renewables.

CO2 emissions are negligible, and they don't matter anyway.

Correction. CO2 emissions don’t matter in the false denier world.

Agricultural output increases with increasing atmospheric CO2.

And the following can also occur from more warming.
    1. Pests can worsen substantially in many agricultural areas.
    2. Funguses can worsen in humid areas.
    3. Droughts can worsen in dry areas.
    4. High tides can salinate coastal agricultural lands.
    5. Flooding

Among many other possible negative outcomes. And all will be irreversible, under any practical scenario.

Agricultural output also increases from global warming due to longer growing seasons.

It’s not easy to wean the suckling pig from its reliant teats. Many have embraced the challenge. The wealthy and powerful have actually decided to work against Climate initiatives to enhance their net worth. Some will downsize, electrify, install renewables; while others will purchase a Hummer, drive along with a Trump flag, and yell, “Drill baby drill”. And both think the same thing- “ This is what’s best for our world.” Slurp, slurp, slurp!

Keep telling yourself that, as this nation continues to spend astronomical sums on hurricanes, flooding, wildfires, and more. People who espouse Nuclear Power, the most expensive power on the planet, don't know much about Fiscal Responsibility.
