You must think people don’t understand basic tax law when you use income knowing full well that people in that tax bracket do not have ordinary income. Hell, I’m no where near your 1% stats (so many multimillionaires on this form! Impressive!) and I receive over half of my salary in dividends and capital gains.

But you know that — right? As a multimillionaire with over 6 million in assets, you should have figured that out by now.

 

if a group makes 24% of the income but pays almost 50% of the income tax, how can anyone claim they aren't paying "their fair share". fair share could be 24% or it could be 1%-both can be defended
