    On the verge of tears when she talks about migrant girls being raped while Trump sent them to cages separated from their parents.

    I really liked Senator Langford's reaction when Biden touted the bipartisan immgration bill.

    In November, Liberals and Independents will re-elect Biden.

    You're banking on Americans putting a criminal in office, but that's not going to happen.

    that's because one side hates America as it is and her history. they want an America that would resemble either the USSR or a balkanized nation divided into warring ethnic and gender special interest groups. Not my original idea-it's one that the great late Moderate David Broder noted about the dems almost 40 years ago

    Did you watch the same speech the rest of the world watched? For starters, he mention threats to democracy, illegals are GOP's fault and global warming. You probably think it's a victory that he didn't sniff an 8 year old.

    Indeed. It was Biden in VERY good form. He covered all the essentials., dealt with the critics, playfully handled the few (very) outbursts from those the made fools of themselves.
    Masterful. As only someone with a depth of experience and wisdom can do.

    He clarified some issues by relevant comparisons.

    He did not lower him elf int bragging , name calling, or stupid slogans.

    The response from the R's was pitiful, petulant and whiny. (sounded like a neurotic chronic complainer and whiner )

    Did not come close to the professionalism required in that response.

    Very well done, MR PRESIDENT.

    Given tonight's speech, which was just recently finished, given the caliber of his performance, there is no way in hell you can objectively make that claim. Biden rose to the task and hit it out of the park. There is absolutely way someone with cognitive decline/dementia, etc., could have performed as well as Biden performed tonight. It was intense, forceful, well articulated, he hit all the right points, and scored a massive 4 point home run. He might have made a couple of stumbles, but they were slight and fleeting.

    The right is a making major mistake by backing Trump, who IS in clear cognitive decline, talks like a moron, talks mostly about himself, whines incessantly, a perpetual victim, has a negative world view and is a bloviating ball of drivel. I really cannot comprehend what it is that the right sees in Trump as he is a sad sack from the top down.

    I'm sorry, but this 'dementia Biden' narrative is now dead.
