stop giving speeches " and focus on helping victims of the storm.
That quote from Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal.
Pretty much says it all. While Obama was out aggressively campaigning yesterday,
millions of Storm victims were pleading for help.Is that leadership.
Given the way Bush's FEMA was savagely attacked {Katrina}from the get-go, it's now
6 days into the Storm's devastating effects and not one bit of negativity on the part
of Liberals and the Maintream Media as to Obama's leadership and FEMA results.
Again ... to be expected. When facts on the ground just don't compute
with the average Liberals surreal train of thought.
We are living in a Twilight Zone.Of the Lamestream's making.

I live in the NY area and have been watching the news this morning. Overwhelmingly it has been story's of people and agencies like Fema getting aid to those who need it. Sorry to disappoint you since you seem to be hoping for the opposite.

Governor Jindal should **** and stop trying to politicize a natural disaster.

    Millions? Really?

ower's back on throughout most of NJ, though that's a state concern, and the National Guard has been dispatched to the area, which is doing all it can to assist people. They can't magically improve the situation in an instant simply by showing up. I feel for the people of Staten Island (although I haven't gotten an update about if more help has arrived for them since last night), but that's on Mayor Bloomberg. He's got the national guard at his disposal, but he didn't send them there.

The only people's opinions that actually matter are the state leaders who are truly dealing with the problem. Christie, a loud critic of Obama over the past few months, has nothing but praise for how Obama has handled the crisis. If you can't accept his word on the subject, then you're simply playing politics and won't accept anybody's opinions of Obama unless it's negative.

Obama has supplied the resources necessary for state and local politicians to lead the way successfully. I thought that was how conservatives prefered our government to operate. Now suddenly, conservatives like big feds coming in to take over sovereignty of the states?

Almost 2,000 people died in katrine while a little more than 100 have died from Sandy. It's pretty understandable why the media would react more negatively toward Katrina than Sandy, though I agree Bush didn't deserve it.

That pretty much says it all. Why he is running his DS, WTF is he doing to help the victims.

I think you are bascially FULL OF IT.I know the Photo Ops of
Tubby Christie and Obama as if newfound twins seperated at birth. How touching.
Christie did it for one reason. To make sure his state gets taken care of and is
a priority.Few question Christie's loyalty towards his citizens. However
MY Proof ... DRUDGE> Just go to Drudge and read all the sad stories of
    distress throughout the region.

Yes, and the anger that many feel (I would too!) seems to be directed NOT at FEMA and the President, not even at the Governors and the mayors, but at hypocrites do-nothing, like Romney and his theatrical!

Not sure what " katrine " is.Maybe some offshore latrine.
    Sandy was barely a Hurricane.Most Hurricane { they are called Typhoon in the pacific }
do not ever make it as far up coast as New York or New Jersey.
Sandy was fierce because of it's vast expanse and overhwelming Storm Surge.
Katrina was just Fierce as Biloxi was testement to.Governor Haley Barber,a
Republican, got to work lickety split and with mostly volunteers rebuilt Biloxi.
Whereas Mayor Ray Nagin spent his time whining, passing the buck and the blame
everywhere but squarely at his doorstep.Nagin fled his own city for the
comfort of Texas. Most of Nagins police force also fled.It was because of good city's
like Louisville and their Emergency Fire and Rescue units that helped alleviate some
of the dire straights many in the parishes of New Orleans suffered at the hands of
Incompetent boobs like Liberal Mayor Ray Nagin.Nagin not unsurprisingly got
re-elected and there are still places in New Orleans that have still gone unfixed.

How precious.Blame Romney.Sounds about right.Like the way Obama is basically blaming Romney
    Policy for his disastrous Economy.
This is a Mantra among Lying,Incompetent Liberals.Just Project YOUR sins and
Incompetence onto reppublicans as if no one will notice.
Of course just listening to a Howard Stern Obama on the street likely voter question
and answer interview pretty much sums up what this country is dealing with.

You post a video made by the lost mascot of the whiny (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) society and expect us to take it as how most people feel up there? Sure thing.

Seems many people view supplying the food to donate, at the Romney campaign/food fundraiser, as being less than genuine. While history shows Mitt to change his position based on his audience, it also shows him to be a good and decent man.

Wait a minute...you are going to start playing the grammar nazi game? If that's how you want to start playing, you could at least learn to put a space after your periods and commas. Anyway, grammar comments mean one thing--you just can't admit that I'm right.

I don't feel any reason to disagree with any of this. I just don't understand why you acknowledge out one side of your mouth that states are perfectly capable of handling even larger storms than Sandy, yet complain out the other side that states need more federal help to recover from Sandy.

As any Idiot can plainly learn, when Katrina hit it devastated Biloxi,Miss.Yet under
a REPUBLICAN Governor it was up and running in like 1/10th the time of New Orleans.
Maybe that's why Governor Christie felt it important to suck up any Pride and
do some back-slapping with feckless Obama the Incompetent one.
Republicans Fix stuff.Democrats don't Fix squat is my thesis.
Maybe Now New Yorkers will get a heady dose of their own medicine, since they
love voting back into office Feckless Democrats.

laying blame squarely on President Bush for that states Feckless leadership.
Democrats are such a Joke, even they can't believe it half the time.
