Abortions were legal in the Colonies through the mid 1800's when "male" doctors decided they wanted that business for themselves; that was the impetus, originally, for illegal abortions. So, there is that.

The right violated all forms of decorum to install this new right wing branch of government. I remember when the right was screaming unelected judges in black robes because the courts were not stacked and like always it was simply projection.

They are illegitimate and three need to be impeached as soon as Democrats, Independents and Republicans with integrity take the Senate again.

Another attack on democracy by Dems. Not shocking, they don’t care about the legitimacy of govt.

dems need to be impeached and removed from office. They have no integrity, and are more interested in authoritarianism and power than helping the nation.

Isn’t that what righties are telling us now about abortion? We’re too dumb for that freedom and need some state senators to tell us?

It was legal here and there in America before RvW. The recent SC ruling didn't make abortion illegal. It returned the issue to the States and citizens to decide for themselves.

Nope. It took the power from the States and citizens and dictated from the bench in violation of Constitutional powers and spirit.

I think the fed is just saying that abortion shouldn't be something dictated by that level of government as it has nothing to do with the constitution and it was wrong for them to weigh in on that subject. They are correcting an overstep/reach of authority.

FDR's judges did that at a far higher and more alarming rate.

Yet, it wasn't progressive urban elites and the left that attacked OUR Capitol as part of tRaitor tRumps scheme to subvert OUR election to stay in power.

They had well over 500 riots all over America including that city. They attacked the Supreme Court and the White House too.

If I remember the Electric Company correctly, Congress creates and passes bills. The president then may sign those bills into law. Federal courts may review the laws to see if they agree with the Constitution. If a court finds a law is unconstitutional, it can strike it down. When did Congress create and pass a bill that made abortion legal in every state?

The riots cannot all be attributed to progressives or the left. Many were instigated by anarchist and white supremacists who's goal was to make the left look bad and cause chaos.

In any case the "riots" should not be confused with tRaitor tRumps attack on our government and Constitution.

Until the left takes responsibility for all of the crap they enabled from late May 2020 to last night, we will only mock you all who bring up Jan 6 and laugh at them to their faces, particularly Pelosi and her unselect committee.

They didn’t dictate anything, nobody was forced to abort because of roe
Some folks weren’t allowed to impose their views on others though, which scotus now corrected so that they can

I do not have a problem with the PEOPLE imposing their views. I do have a problem with the federal government imposing views on the PEOPLE.

Why do you have a problem with democracy?

Nope. The government overlords are giving the issue back to the PEOPLE. That is a big win for liberty.

Why do you think we don't?
Mocking is tantamount to being little brats that take their ball and go home. You like to laugh it off ... when you don't have a rebuttal.
Wrong, Kevin McCarthy made it an "unselect committee", Select/unselect ~ whatever, they have still brought forth very credible tRumpublican witnesses that have given damning testimony about tRatitor tRumps attack on OUR Government. The truth is tRumpublicans, like you, are looking for any excuse to discount that testimony so their conscious can continue to support Benedict Donald.

What people say about the Supreme Court pales into insignificance when compared to what has been done to politicize -- purposely change the overall ideology of -- the Court. This can be directly traced to a change in precedent in the selection of a justice to fill a vacancy. Further investigation shows a political bias in recent years in the staffing of judicial positions in the lower federal and state courts.

    The process is on-going.

    Regards, stay safe 'n well.
