I guess the guy was really having a bad day.

On another positive note they did also arrest his poaching buddies although I am sort of partial to the animal solution.

Why would anyone need to shoot a rhino?

Me too! This is an example of the universe balancing the scales of justice. Dontcha just love a happy ending? It seems this is a situation where the left and the right agree.

I support poaching as a revolutionary struggle against unfair wildlife laws. When they are amended to permit responsible capture of all species, I will reconsider my views on poaching.

Until then, I support the poachers.

I'd also say this was karma.

I am not sure people would say the same if this had happened to the Trump boys when they went trophy hunting:

    https://www.theguardian.com/environ...laims-trophy-hunting-saves-endangered-animals

I remember that in this case, Trump fans all of a sudden defending the hunters as doing something good for the wild life.

So: Rich boys trophy hunting for sport - good. Poor guys poaching to get money to eat - bad. We get the picture.

So, do highly illegal and lethal things with your guns, till they let you do what you want with your guns?

Not necessarily with guns, just as communists don't only support revolutionary struggle with guns. I agree with the radical left on a diversity of methods.

Fluffy dice attacks are up 350% in the last year in Tanzania. It's not all about the guns.

That's because he peed his pants during dinner and lions don't eat peed in pants. His partners probably sacrificed him to the elephant so that they could escape. This is why, if you are partial to "animal solution" (culling) then let the park rangers do it because disgusting hunters can't be trusted. I was especially grossed out with the photo of Trump's son with the tail of the baby elephant around his neck.
I'd love to hang that obnoxious cockroach by his balls and watch him scream.

You seem unable to understand the difference between taking animals legally and poaching.

You seem unable to understand the difference between taking a human legally, and murder. So of course poaching to you is no big deal.

Because superstitious peasants in China think eating endangered animals makes them good in bed.

No, most likely the poacher was a poor African that gets paid pennies on the dollar, for illicit ivory on the black market.

    OP

I haven't laughed so much since the cat died. If he survived the trampling, I'll bet he was thinking, while the lion was chomping away on him, 'Sod this - wish I'd become an accountant now!'

Some people kill African 'big game' because they can make money from the parts. They are often poor, which is a reason if not an excuse. They should be appropriately punished. I have no objection to the animals gaining their own justice.

Others do it because they get some thrill out of killing large, endangered animals. They are usually wealthy sociopaths who should be left to wander unarmed with the animals they had planned to kill until nature takes its course.
