Are you saying that believing in biological reality--the trans issue, in other words--means being religious? I don't think you need to be religious to know that people with penises are men and those with vaginas are women. In fact, I'd say that's basic biology, which requires the most elementary of education to understand. I also don't think you need to be religious to be against the notion of celebrating people's sexual preferences, especially their perverse fetishes.

One of the senses of "kid" is "child," and one of the senses of "child" is an "unborn or recently born person." Therefore, kid, fetus, and zygote are subsumed under the term "child." Read.

Let's keep those photos off this forum. I don't want to puke, thank you very much.

Let's hear it: do you support partial birth abortion?

There is no such medical procedure, I think you are likely referring to intact dilation and extraction.

It depends on the reason, D&X is frequently used in the cases of still birth and miscarriages. I’m those cases yes, 100% I support them. This procedure represents about 0.17% of all abortions performed in the US.

If it is a minor child I think they should be able to have an abortion at any stage of their pregnancy as no consent was given — they were effectively raped. For adults I think once the fetus is viable it should be give protections.

Do you support forcing children that were raped to have their rape baby?

Unlike me — you don’t have to worry about me refusing to answer a question because it destroys my narrative.

I will use definitions but thanks for your opinion

I would say take your own advice but I don’t think reading is the issue.

    No, you were not.

Per Merriam-Webster, a kid is a child, and a child can be unborn.

    References:

kid: a young person; especially: CHILD

child: an unborn or recently born person

Now post the definition of a zygote and see how you can twist that into the definition above.

    The notion is laughable

    A zygote isn’t a kid

    Sure thing.

A kid is a human, a person. With that in mind, please see the following definitions:

zygote: the developing individual produced from such a cell

    “Zygote.” Merriam-Webster.com Dictionary, Merriam-Webster, https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/zygote. Accessed 28 May. 2023.

individual: a single human being as contrasted with a social group or institution

    “Individual.” Merriam-Webster.com Dictionary, Merriam-Webster, https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/individual. Accessed 28 May. 2023.

Since a zygote is an unborn person, it would be a child, which would make it a kid.

    Your turn.

I posted the medical definition of the word.
    It disagrees with yours.

Since we are discussing medical topics I believe the medical dictionary to be more relevant than Webster. But you are free to stick with yours.

    A fetus isn’t a kid. It isn’t a child. It isn’t a baby.
And using the words interchangeably shows the desire to manipulate the discussion emotionally.

The definition cited in that image is but a sense of the word "child"; it is not the only sense. In particular, it appears the image you posted conforms with this sense of child:

child: a young person especially between infancy and puberty

But "child" also carries this sense, too:

child: an unborn or recently born person

    “Child.” Merriam-Webster.com Dictionary, Merriam-Webster, https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/child. Accessed 28 May. 2023.

A word can have more than one sense. To say that your citation falsifies my citation is sophistic and nonfactual. You need to learn read dictionaries properly.

We are reading two different dictionaries. Mine is a medical one, yours is a common language one.

Reading isn’t the issue, comprehension seems to be.
We are going back and forth now with no progress so feel free to have the last word

All right. Let's go with medical dictionaries, since a general usage dictionary, for some reason, does not qualify in your world.

Merriam-Webster's medical definition of the word "child":

    1
: an unborn or recently born person
    2
: a young person especially between infancy and youth

    “Child.” Merriam-Webster.com Dictionary, Merriam-Webster, https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/child. Accessed 28 May. 2023.

See, they have a medical dictionary, too!

Edit: since you are giving me the last word, instead of ending with "your turn," I'll end with...

    Checkmate.

I don't think I've ever rhetorically smashed someone so hard on this forum as just happened here. So, thank you for the opportunity.

I have already posted where I arrived at my understanding of the word. From a medical perspective they try and avoid words that have multiple meanings as it can cause issues when discussing something or making treatment.

It even goes as far as to say
Avoid vague terms such as babies, school-aged children, or teenagers, without first defining them (e.g., infants ages 5 months to 1 year, children ages 6-12 years, adolescents ages 13-17 years). When possible, use a specific age or age range.

But I am happy to have helped you think you accomplished something here seeing that you believe this is you at your best, you should take the small victories wherever you find them — even if they are not real.

    You are most welcome!

    What the hell is this?

You said I was going to have the last word. Then you went back on your word, and replied to me. What kind of **** is this? That's textbook Indian giving.

Is there no honor left in this world?

Your first post was the last word. Your second started anew.

Like I said, the issue hasn’t been a reading issue all along, it’s been a comprehension issue.

    1 != 2

You should be ashamed of yourself. Indian giving like that.

    For shame!

Anyway, I won that argument. And I'll remember that you will go back on your word of giving people the last word.
