Your original post that I quoted stated that they were 'marketed for trans customers'. But I get it - there are children's tshirts with rainbows on them. Which, of course, children have been wearing for decades. Do you think that them wearing a rainbow tshirt will magically transform them into trans children? Do you think that babies wearing rainbow onesies are being damaged mentally? I simply don't understand the concern.

Sadly, there likely are some people who do believe this.

If there's no concern, then why did Target remove the Rainbow Childrens' line? The concern is what the line represents. Support for LBGQT. Children shouldn't be concerned with the politics of this.

And I don't think they are concerned with the politics of this. Kids are wearing rainbow tshirts. That's it. It's the adults who are politicizing this - not the kids.

Children aren’t the ones concerned with the politics of this.

So like abortion then, you don’t think companies should take positions on that? Religion is also highly politicized, should companies be targeted if they take a religious stance?

Your WSJ is fascinating though, I think this is going to be a lesson of why nations don’t negotiate with terrorists — corporations are about to learn that lesson as well.

That's what I said in so many words. Kids should not be involved in the politicization. Let them be kids.
Wearing rainbow t-shirts is way different than tuck friendly swimwear, or t-shirts that say “Pride Adult Drag Queen ‘Katya,'” “Trans people will always exist!” and “Girls Gays Theys?" That some don't see why Target was boycotted, losing billions of dollars is weird.

There is no tuck friendly swimwear for kids. That claim has already been debunked

If you are having to resort to repeating lies spread by extreme right wing sources that were designed to make people like you irate then you have already lost.

I don't think it's in corporate America's best interests to go woke. I can't say they shouldn't though. Let them test the waters and see what works, and btw, there's nothing new there. We've seen that much to their detriment that it doesn't work on certain issues, like promoting Trans-woke, as it didn't work with Anheuser Busch, and now with Target. If Target wants to market pro-abortion swimwear to little girls, well, to them I say, good luck with that. Businesses will test the waters and when they lose money they will back off.

    That's not the issue though.
Parents don't want their youngsters exposed to this. They have that right, hence the Target boycott.

Kohls will soon learn as well and face the same heat. The consumer has the final say. I expect Kohl's will face boycotts.

Kohl’s faces shopper uproar after becoming latest retailer to market LGBTQ clothing to children: 'Disgusting' (msn.com)

Why do you feel the need to call others liars?

Target has been doing this for 8+ years. Pride displays have gotten more and more common place.

Bud was definitely a stupid decision, they depend on your demographic almost entirely — target does not, most companies do not. As the right wing slowly struggles with policy positions and instead focus entirely on mindless bumper sticker slogan attacks these boycotts will be less and less — “get woke go broke” is my current favorite although I hate let’s go brandon seems to have died off.

You are going to hate what gen z brings

You bypassed it until something was said and then still didn’t answer. I have no issues admitting I am wrong, this isn’t one of those times.

Somehow, I figured you'd answer like this instead of just admitting that you got it wrong.
