Actual transgenderism can't. Confusion about it certainly can. Not everyone going through a tomboy or effeminate phase is transgender.

Would you say that population wide, the number of arms that a human has is a "spectrum?"

I would be very skeptical of any such research paper, including the ones you say go the other way. This is a highly politically volatile topic and I wouldn't trust any researcher to not be extremely biased. I bet many if not most of the "research" showing results in either direction are highly suspect.

I am going to try and listen to and assess your position fairly without bias. I have a few different comments related to this line of thinking that you keep pushing.

- If they can come up with an actual objective genetic test that indicates that someone is a different gender, I know I personally would put far more credence in that determination than I would vs the self-reported variety coming from a pre-teen. Something about a 12 year old boy telling me that instead of being a budding run of the mill effeminate homosexual boy that likes boys, they are actually a budding heterosexual female that like boys, especially before their bodies start to change, just doesnt strike me as nearly convincing enough to be halting their natural biological processes based on their feelings. Call me crazy, but I just dont find 12-year-old minds to be all that insightful.


-Being that you seemingly put so much faith in this concept, can you tell me if you know the percentage of people that are currently claiming to be trans that also show these genetic anamolies that you reference? That is a sincere question. Do we know that number? Do we know what percentage of people claiming to be trans that show no genetic anomoly whatsoever?

-If it correlates highly, I would say that lends far more credence to what you are pushing. Conversely, if it does not correlate highly, it takes away from the legitimacy of your position. If it does correlate highly I would guess that the LGBTQ community would be taking great pains to make that fact well known. If it does not correlate highly, I would guess that you will not find anything mentioning this in the literature. Those are just common-sense conclusions.
