I'm actually not very surprised at the racism issue...it was to be expected. Its being exploited and perpetuated by BOTH sides...and that too is to be expected.

Our job...especially yours as I am not a US citizen...is to RISE ABOVE such thin crap. Our job is to identify the problems and discuss them RATIONALLY that we can find a COMPROMISE that gets the USA in better condition and and doesn't completely dump on the US middle-class.

I'm surprised that you recognize the fact that most blacks don't know why they hate (whoever) but just follow the lead of their poverty pimps who tell them that X,Y&Z are racists. Because blacks have hate as their primary emotion it is easy for them to draw it and cast it on whoever they are told hates them.

Most white people don't hate blacks but most of us understand that blacks hate us for things that we had nothing to do with so we are wise to keep an eye on blacks that we interact with. We don't see white gangs of kids attacking people in public places, mob robbing stores and rioting because a white guy on drugs got his ass kicked by the police because he resisted arrest after a long chase.

I guess you are saying that the "obvious reasons" black people assume that the Tea Party people are racists is that the Tea Party people look too closely at the facts and those facts paint a rather poor picture of the black community?????

I love this stupidity. The liberal horde wants to hold the Tea Party and the right to the highest standard possible while ignoring their connection with the "New Black Panthers".

There are racists on both sides but the Tea Party people are not motivated by Barry's race and most of them ignore his illegal status.

I have been to a lot of Tea Party meeting and not one time have I heard a racial slur or conversation about Barry's race. I have heard talk about his progressive left wing agenda and how detrimental it is to our country. At about the same level is the Tea Party's disgust with RINOs who are not real conservatives. I just got an email wanting me to help defeat to Republican Senators in the primaries. I declined because we need to concentrate of getting rid of Barry and filling the Senate with so many Republicans that the RINOs will stay in line.

How much substantiation do we need? We see that to make the claim that black hate the Tea Party for reason that you think are obvious but you can't show those reasons. Why, because the reasons blacks hate are so lame and self serving, you know it???

Blacks can hate me for seeing them as a group rather than as individuals but as long as there are black mobs running amuck, the prisons are full of violent black gangs, most black kids don't know who their father is because their mother didn't get his name and most black elected officials are idiots, communists or racists I'll keep my hand on my gun.

 

A basic flaw. The public sector [government] CANNOT create jobs. ONLY the private sector can create jobs. The infamous Stimulus wasted over a TRILLION dollars. In spite of lies by odrama and his VP, the Bureau of Labor Statistics says we have LOST 1,645,000 jobs since the Stimulus was passed 29 months ago. And since the unemployment rate is higher NOW, than it was when the Stimulus passed, everyone should be able to realize that more than EVERY job 'created' one was lost. And I'm NOT referring to the 8% "promise." Unemployment WAS 7.8% and IS now 9.1%. That is proof that there has been NO net job creation.

odrama hand picked these people to find a solution. They DID. But it doesn't jibe with what he wants. Which is BIG govt and POWER!

In a nutshell, they say CUT the govt to the bone. Stop all duplication in govt. Throw out the tax code, do a simple tax code with LOWER rates where EVERYBODY pays.

See the problem is simple math. The "TAX THE RICH" solution doesn't work. Because the "RICH" are a small number. A high rate of tax times a small number yields a small number. Everyone is a large number. And low rate of tax times a very large number, yields a large number.

What I would add is for our govt to become totally supportive of American Business. We are in a global economy. Doesn't matter how deep we stick our heads in the sand, we will still be in a global economy. What our people and thus, our govt SHOULD do, is everything possible for our business to complete on a global basis. That means lower taxes and many, many fewer regulations. Promote our business rather than treating them like an evil source of tax revenue.

And the Fed printing more and more, less and less valuable currency just makes the hill we have to climb, steeper. The Fed should be closed.

That's a sound document. We simply have differing ideas concerning government spending and economic recover (job creation). But if I'm not mistaken, this doc suggests spending programs. All I would wanna do it expand that just a bit, and only on a temporary basis. The reasoning I have for this is that history itself shows that this kind of spending can "kick-start" a sluggish economy...which is what the USA needs desperately right now.

So let start there. We don't agree on government spending...but we have to find a compromise. The first compromise I would make is to give you the totality of tax increases you ask for.

BTW...I'm no big fan of the Fed either...but that ain't going anywhere tomorrow...so lets stick to what we CAN do something about.
