Once you realize that before the government can spend a cent, they must take that cent OUT of the economy. I hear political pundits saying every cent of welfare, or whatever dollars spent, returns $1.84. If they have such "MAGIC DOLLARS," THEY'D STILL BE BETTER LEFT IN THE ECONOMY.

Govt spending is like a wounded soldier getting a blood transfusion for bleeding out of his belly. The govt sticks a needle and tube in his left arm. and the other end of the tube goes in his right arm. This is fine until he bleeds out and dies.

Compromise is fine if you compromise with me I'm all for it. But I suspect you have no interest in that, just as I have no interest in compromising with you to allow rampant insanity to continue..

That's $13,775.2 TRILLION IN SPENDING, or $3,443.8 TRILLION PER YEAR

And $4,809.9 TRILLION IN OVERSPENDING [DEFICITS] or $1,202.475 TRILLION PER YEAR in deficits.

In 2007 and all earlier years, this nation NEVER had a deficit of even HALF a TRILLION DOLLARS.

No matter where we put the blame, presidents or Congress, We have spent nearly $14 TRILLION DOLLARS, AND RACKED UP ALMOST $5 trillion in deficits.

THAT IS ENOUGH GOVT SPENDING.

Especially when we look at ALL that it has done for us. GDP in the tank. Net loss of jobs, Money devalued, Credit rating downgraded, housing prices and sales, TERRIBLE. Banks won't loan, business won't hire.

If the govt "leaders" delivered all this with SPENDING, then its worth a chance to stop spending rather than get more of this wonderful "result."

In response to questions we have received regarding Dale Robertson and his involvement with HoustonTPS, and specifically in reference to his attendance at our rally on 27 Feb 2009, we would like to state that:



1. He is NOT a member of our Leadership team.

2. He owns a website with which we have never been affiliated.

3. He has never been a part of organizing any of the Tea Party rallies in the Houston area, or any other area that we can find.

5. We do not choose to associate with people that use his type of disgusting language.



A search on Google yields plenty of information about Mr. Robertson, and a search of the various leadership teams among legitimate national tea party organizations show him nowhere to be found.

The left never wants to acknowledge that the TEA Party is simply about fiscal responsibility. It all has to do with CASH FLOW. Cuts are needed...everyone admits government spending has gotten pointless and silly. But CASH FLOW is the problem your country has.

You can't get bank loans
Nobody wants to spend money
Nobody wants to hire staff
People are unemployed or underemployed
as a result
House prices continue to sink
Costs of necessities continues to sky rocket
and your deficit continues to grow

oh...and allot of people are scared (*)(*)(*)(*)less...

So...lets assume...just for a moment...that CASH FLOW is the real problem.
An economy that's essentially STAGNANT. Sound about right?

How do you go about increasing CASH FLOW?
Well, cutting thousands of jobs ain't-a-gonna do it...right?
No Mam, in order for cash to flow freely, people need to be comfortable, and for them to be comfortable...the need JOBS.

OK, so how do we create jobs?
Some people insist that private industry will somehow magically just create jobs out of the goodness of their corporatist hearts. But we all know that the basics of capitalism is...SUPPLY and DEMAND...don't we. And who in here really thinks corporations are gonna create jobs without the existence of DEMAND? Huh? I don't hear you...anybody?
No...I didn't think so...

Now this is the important part...paying attention?

The only entity capable of creating JOBS...is the government.
WHY? you ask? Simple...the government IS NOT A BUSINESS!
It never has been.
It was never meant to be.
Its a GOVERNMENT.

So lets say the government DOES create thousands of jobs.
Well Mam, those thousands of people just got comfortable and begin spending money.
They also pay income taxes...and added plus. Oh Boy...lol
Anyway...corporations see this trend, and begin "beefing-up" their staff to accommodate the additional...what's that magical word? That's right...DEMAND!!!
And THOSE people also pay income taxes...another additional bonus...Oh Boy!
Thus a sort of "snowball" effect begins and a year later, you have much improved...

After about 2 years of consistent and focused investment in JOB CREATION, the government can begin to cut this program back...SLOWLY and CAREFULLY so the economy hardly notices.

Et Voila...That's how its done.
That's how its ALWAYS been done.

Now, I understand. (And thank you for debating the point of the Tea Party movement). You think Cash Flow is the problem. It isn't. We have plenty of cash coming in for the role the government should play. PLENTY. We have a spending problem and entitlement problem. We have a problem that government "tries" to fill roles they have no business trying to fill (and don't do it well which makes me a skeptic that they really are trying.)
