thats why dablunderers and OSHuggers are the front and center topic in several universities so they can figure out what went wrong with them. Psychologists Say: Conspiracy Theorists SANE, Government Dupes CRAZY and Hostile. Laurie Manwell, Univ of Guelph; users of the Conspiracy Theorist label impedes their own cognitive function, published in American Behavioral Scientist 2010; anti-conspiracy people are unable to think clearly due to their inability to process information that conflicts with pre-existing beliefs. Univ of Buffalo Prof Steven Hoffman; anti-conspiracy people prone to confirmation bias, and pre-existing belief confirmation, using irrational mechanisms (such as the Conspiracy Theorist label) to avoid personal conflict. Extreme irrationality of those who attack Conspiracy Theorist's is exposed by Ginna Husting and Martin Orr of Boise State Univ. In a 2007 peer-reviewed article entitled Dangerous Machinery: CTst as a Transpersonal Strategy of Exclusion. Now pro-conspiracy voices are more numerous and rational than anti-conspiracy ones and anti-CT people are like hostile, paranoid cranks. The OSHugger movement is so dead.
Now steel heated by fire heats very slowly and sags until it settles and comes to rest on the floor below. well then show us what device can instantly heat steel such that it does not have time to sag and settle on the floor below first. explosives do that job really well.
Are you friggin serious??? All this time you truthers been clinging to the idea the bottom tension rods of a truss can actually push? Think of a rope. You can pull quite a bit with a rope. You can't push (*)(*)(*)(*) with a rope. The bottom tension rod on a truss is nothing but a thin solid steel rope. The absolute ends ( red part) could actually be made out of steel cable but there's absolutely no reason to do so. Added cost and more connections that could fail.
He didn't? You sure about that? Maybe he said it and you didn't understand what he said. Maybe you skipped class that day or something.
True enough. Nah... I went to cjnews.com and found out why he is so adamant about debunking the truth. I was talking about leftysergeant's YouTube channel. It is entertaining.
thermite explodes and I never said it was brought down specifically by thermite. keep your accusations straaight
Your graphs prove it. They refer to tensile and tension and positive loads ( pull) There is no tensile and tension in compression ( push). Anything else I can help you with?
oh so you were involved in the design of the wtc huh? Are you another forum expert too? Oh goody! Wait I dont think you are because you would have immediately concluded the condition the truss was in and understood how that can happen.
Never said I designed the wtcor any other building besides the ones I've built. I have no idea what you mean by a conclusion of the condition of the truss and my understanding of it. Care to clarify your position? I'm only here to help.
different words to deal with the same thing, stress we gonna go full grammar nazi now is that it? no comedy is complete without it! LOL
oh well you seem to dictate what would be cheaper and pretend to read the designers minds. you hare here to help are you? what do you think you can help with? I dont recall ordering room service and that is all I need help with right now.
As I plainly said tensile and tension are indeed two different words to describe basically the same thing (PULL ). There is no tension or tensile in compression (PUSH) It's not a grammar thing. I'll be the last to ridicule grammar. It's a reality thing. Your own graphs prove those trusses were pulling on the walls with 12,000+ lbs of force per truss. I thought you wanted the truth?
If you had ever seen a truss in anything besides a little computer generated picture you might find its easy to read the engineers mind. I've already helped you understand the difference between pushing and pulling and helped you understand what your graphs dictate. What's next besides room service? Concrete dust? That's my area of expertise. Whenever you seek the truth.
I'm not a scientist, so I don't know if TH3 is a non-existant substance or not. I don't even know what it is. But I didn't see any of that in the OP, although it was in later posts. What I am talking about are the articles cited in the OP, where NIST says there was no pancaking but there's pancaking if we need to explain something away. Just keepin it on topic.
and there the mount is well within normal operating parameters. SO.... SO WHAT? more frivolous crap from you guys.
no you put a ridiculous argument and instead of helping where I need help (room service) you wasted mine and everyone elses time. - - - Updated - - - Oh I claim lots of things, its just that you people always regurgitate into something I did not claim which is generally frowned upon as trolling.
Check out page 91 graph. See that 5/8" bolt in red buried inside the truss at the mount and the boundary shelf just below it turning red. There's your stress being transferred. Did dinner arrive yet?
Now would you care to tell me how the mount could be within normal parameters when heated to a thousand degrees?
Where do you come up with 1000? Seems to me nist said 400 in their reports cite what steel was at 1000 in their reports.
