Pilots who had transferred in from the European Theater considered the missions over Japan to be a "Milk Run", which is was when compared to the missions and losses over Germany.

And the actual number of B-29's "shot down" is 147. 74 to fighters, 54 to AAA, and 19 to a combination of both.

So please, a reference as to how you arrived at your total of 429 aircraft. Your claims are far away from any other sources I have ever seen, most accounts I have read show the leading causes of aircraft losses were mechanical failure, weather, and landings.
