The Blue states should let the red states leave.

I have read up. The better farm land is in the mid west. Mentioning Colorado is funny. I lived in Colorado for twelve years. The largest area of Colorado suitable for farming was the eastern portion which is more like Kansas than the majority of Colorado. We referred to it as "West Kansas".

    Lol

In true liberal fashion, only pay attention to the parts that make a tingle feeling in your pants.

Let's actually not divide by state by county. And then all the blue urban areas starve.

    Great plan.

Only a fool would look at absolute costs to determine wealth, excluding the purchasing parity aspect.

Yes. Mississippi has less dollars that California. It also costs substantially less to live there.

This is why low cost states do better on a federal distributing funds. Pay in a dollar get back two, as opposed to high cost states who pay in two and get back one.

The problem is, the left can't figure out how to achieve their social utopia that doesn't result in crazy high costs of living and massive wealth disparity.

Well, as a libertarian who simply wants to live free from government interfering in my life - you know, like how America was founded to be...

    Sign me up.

I've been an advocate of splitting the country up for many years. I've known for over 40 years what the radical left was planning...

As with all authoritarian societies - those who want to live free can't wait to get out.

You know it also costs a lot less money to live in a developing economy. Their economy is much easier to exploit so your money being stronger can dominate their economy. I think Family Guy literally proved this point.

If the red states secede, i will say about 80% of their pHDs, scientists, and engineers would sprint for the door. I would be a brain and talent drain that would be stranger than fiction.

Thanks for the block quote, shame you didn't address anything whatsoever in the post you quoted. Not surprised though, there's really no response. All it takes is one intrastate secession from its host state (rather from its parasitic cities), no "whole state" interstate secessions from the federal government whatsoever required, still U.S. states, just not including the big blue cities. Hilariously ironic that the Democrats stated scheme to admit new states out of thin air could backfire in this exact way (same with court packing, but that's another topic). Then watch the well-planned COVID and election fraud cookie combo crumble and go tits up, and watch the dominos cascade.

The arrogance of the left, and inability to recognize the failures of their platforms as evident through social experiments of the progressive agenda in urban centers. Fact is, many many companies are moving to states like Texas from heavily progressive areas because the policies enforced in these progressive utopias simply don't make sense.

The only way that the progressive liberal agenda makes sense is to force compliance and remove competitive social agendas that simply work. This is why the liberal agenda is so heavily focused on central government, mandated compliance, and force. When left to the more natural trade policies guided by individualism and competition, the progressive policies fail.

Ironically, these migrant businesses and people take their failed policies with them when they move to greener pastures.

Progressive liberalism is a disease, and those infected are incapable of seeing the failures of their agendas.

As you cannot demonstrate a rational basis for this, it negates itself as nothing more than a self-serving WAG.

Eh. 6/10 can do better, but I appreciate all of the trigger words. Do you use them for yourself to trigger a frenzy in yourself, or do you use it primarily to signal to other people you are in the ingroup?

I agree with the OP. Then the rest of the sane people could watch them further deteriorate and turn into something like this,
