He was a million before that and the book was just self serving pablum for the mostly weak minded fools that sadly make up most of the rank and file voters of the DNC.

That’s not what the record shows champ. He was not indicted for perjury or anything else by Congress or Trump’s DOJ. Your assertions are just more attempts to slime a guy who would not get in bed with Trump or his pack of criminals. All of your assaults on those who dared to challenge Trump are a bunch of bullshit and anyone who is not a Ditto Head or has been Hannitized knows it damn well. You live in a delusional fantasy land.

Sure it is. His not being indicted is not evidence he didn’t do it. We know he did it. This is why we’re all sick of the DC Friends Go Free Program with two sets of laws.

    Q) Why didn’t Trump’s DOJ arrest and charge Comey?

    A) Because they knew they would lose any trial and be embarrassed.

This is true about all of the baseless attacks and assertions made by Trump, his compliant lackeys in Congress and the lying scum of right wing media who have endlessly parroted this bullshit. A court of law is where the rubber meets the road boys. Either produce indictments or shut your ignorant pie holes. You mooks have cried Wolf for decades now and haven’t come up with squat.

Most of them were not cooperating with Trump. Muh Rushan Clooshun hoax is a prime example. Which is why I'm disappointed Trump did not fire them all on the spot, like Clinton fired 93 DOJ attorneys.

Unsubstantiated wishful thinking here. Nothing substantive. Noted.

As I said, which is true, if the people responsible for bringing indictments and investigating crimes are liberals (ones who, for example, "can smell the Wal Mart shoppers") then you don't have equal justice.

That you can't understand or admit this doesn't make it unreal. It just makes you in denial. Watch this biased scumbag squirm:

Not vacuous, Trump did suggest nuking hurricanes, did suggest injecting disinfectants, and that book exists. It would be vacuous if the book didn't exist, and the 1000 things in the book were lies.

    Your comment is vacuous, however.

While in office, former President Donald Trump famously drew ire for staying at his own hotels and clubs which, in turn, required the Secret Service protecting him to spend huge sums to rent out his rooms, at taxpayers’ expense.

While he was president, Trump’s properties reportedly charged the U.S. government more than $2.5 million, often for rooms to allow his own security detail to remain close by.

Apparently he hasn’t quit the lucrative practice, according to documents forked over by the Secret Service under a public records request made by the Washington Post.

According to the Post, the former president charged the Secret Service more than $40,000 this spring for rooms that Trump’s own security detail used while ensuring he was kept safe at his Mar-a-Lago Club.

Yup. Guilty as sin, and free as birds.

Ex-FBI Director Gave $100K to Biden Trust, Sought ‘Profitable’ Work With Joe Biden Through Hunter. “Louis Freeh, who directed the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 1993 to 2001, made a $100,000 donation to the trust fund of then-Vice President Joe Biden’s grandchildren in April 2016. In July 2016 and March 2017, Freeh approached Biden’s son Hunter, attempting to do business with Joe Biden, mentioning ‘some very good and profitable matters’ that the former Vice President could ‘enhance.'”

It's corruption and inside dealing all the way down.

    It's probably time for change:

TEHRAN, Iran — Iran’s parliament speaker said Sunday that international inspectors may no longer access surveillance images of the Islamic Republic’s nuclear sites, escalating tensions amid diplomatic efforts in Vienna to save Tehran’s atomic accord with world powers.

The comments by Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, aired by state TV, further underscored the narrowing window for the U.S. and others to reach terms with Iran. The Islamic Republic is already enriching and stockpiling uranium at levels far beyond those allowed by its 2015 nuclear deal.

The former daughter-in-law of Allen Weisselberg said on Thursday that she believes the chief financial officer of the Trump Organization whom she has known for years, will flip as investigators dig deeper into his personal and financial dealings.

When asked Thursday by CNN anchor Erin Burnett whether her ex-husband’s father whom she’s known for decades would “flip” amid a sweeping criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump and his family business, Jennifer Weisselberg delivered a one-word answer: “yes.”

President Trump was able to remake the federal judiciary by nominating a flood of young, conservatives judges. Now the Democratic counter-offensive is underway.

The first tranche of President Biden’s judicial nominees are moving through the Senate Judiciary Committee, which will vote on five of his nominees Thursday.

Whether Biden will be able to match Trump’s influence on the courts is, in one sense, a game of numbers. Trump was able to put 234 judges on the bench. Biden, currently, has 81 vacancies to fill, with at least another 30 seats on the bench expected to open up in the months to come. So far, Biden has announced 20 nominees.

“We have so much damage to repair, I would like to see the pace really increase,” said Zinelle October, executive vice president of the progressive legal organization American Constitution Society.

Gordon Sondland, the former U.S. ambassador to the EU, is suing former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and the government in a bid to have one of the two pay for $1.8 million in legal fees incurred during the 2019 Ukraine impeachment inquiry.

The Washington Post first reported the lawsuit, which was filed Monday in federal court in Washington, D.C.

When the impeachment inquiry began in September 2019, Sondland alleged, he met with Pompeo and received an assurance: while government lawyers would not represent him in the inquiry, the State Department would reimburse Sondland for all of his legal costs relating to the impeachment.

In recent years, a security unit meant to protect Commerce Department officials morphed into a force so aggressive that its members rifled through employees’ offices and combed through social media sites for criticism of the census process under the Trump administration, according to the Washington Post.

The Investigations and Threat Management Service (ITMS) also looked specifically through the department’s servers for usage of Chinese words, leading to investigations of Asian American employees.

“A recent OIG inquiry has found that the deputation of ITMS under this program does not authorize ITMS to conduct criminal investigations and is intended only for the protection of the Secretary and Department critical assets — meaning facilities and people,” wrote former Deputy Assistant Secretary John Costello in an internal report last fall. “This raises significant questions as to whether ITMS has been exceeding its delegated authority or acting beyond its legal remit in its investigations.”

Gordon Sondland, who as a U.S. ambassador in 2019 accused then-President Donald Trump of seeking a “quid pro quo” with Ukraine, on Monday sued former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and the U.S. for $1.8 million in reimbursement for legal fees incurred during Trump’s first impeachment probe.

The lawsuit alleges Pompeo “made a legally binding promise, both individually and on behalf of the Government,” to pay Sondland’s attorneys’ fees after the then-ambassador to the European Union was subpoenaed to testify before Congress.

The Justice Department on Monday released more of a key legal memo concluding that former President Donald Trump did not commit obstruction of justice through his alleged attempts to thwart federal investigations, including Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into ties between his 2016 campaign and Russia.

However, top Justice officials filed an appeal to try to keep the majority of that nine-page legal opinion under wraps, despite a judge’s order earlier this month requiring that the legal memo be released in its entirety.

Manhattan federal prosecutors seized email and iCloud accounts from two Ukrainians and the electronic devices of a third in their investigation into Rudy Giuliani, a defense lawyer said in botched redactions in a court filing.

Prosecutors with the Southern District of New York have seized the email accounts of two former Ukrainian officials, ex-prosecutor general Yuriy Lutsenko and tax service chief Roman Nasirov. They also seized the iPhone and iPad of Alexander Levin, a Ukrainian businessman who put two associates of Giuliani’s in touch with a powerful Ukrainian oligarch.

In a filing, Joseph Bondy, an attorney for Lev Parnas, accidentally revealed statements he had made under seal by blackening lines in the court document while leaving it possible for them to be copied and pasted to another file, CNN first reported.

The Biden Justice Department appears to be making a serious mistake by trying to keep secret a Trump-era document about former Attorney General William P. Barr’s decision to clear his boss, former President Donald Trump, of obstructing justice.

The American people have a right to see the memo. Then they can decide whether Mr. Barr used his power as the nation’s chief law enforcement officer as a shield to protect the president.

This month, Judge Amy Berman Jackson of the U.S. District Court in Washington ordered it released. Were this an ordinary criminal case, her order would represent a remarkable intrusion into prosecutorial secrecy, and I would have appealed when I was acting solicitor general.

But the document is anything but ordinary. It concerns attempts at the highest levels of government to shield the attorney general’s boss from criminal liability. It is, in essence, the people’s memo, and with its appeal, the Justice Department is attempting to hide it from public scrutiny.

Well, considering that the title and body of the OP is about Trump and his admin then I'd say that Trump was an article because he was president, just like when Trump was president they brought up Oblama many times...

A Facebook report released Wednesday says that Russia is still the largest producer of disinformation, a notable finding just five years after Russian operatives launched a far-reaching campaign to infiltrate social media during the 2016 presidential election campaign.

Facebook says it has uncovered disinformation campaigns in more than 50 countries since 2017, when it began the cat-and-mouse game of cracking down on political actors seeking to manipulate public debate on its platform. The report, which summarizes 150 disinformation operations the company says it has disrupted in that period, highlights how such coordinated efforts have become more sophisticated and costly to run in recent years — even as these operators struggle to influence large numbers of people as they once did.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2021/05/26/facebook-disinformation-russia-report/

Facebook may be right about misinformation on their platform but Faux is by far and away the biggest purveyor of misinformation in US media with OANN and Newsmax nipping at their heels.

What investigation so far all they've done is avoid doing any sort of investigation. Mean time the hate Trump media did very little other than bury the story and call it Russian disinformation.
