Women are turning out in huge numbers...re Va and Alabama.
Why do you call feminists man haters? Why are women so threatening to you?
Women did not have the vote for hundreds of years and then you ask why it’s mostly men in charge? Why do you suddenly see women gaining more and more positions of power and prestige? All I know it’s because we are man hating over feminists so silly ? You really believe the power structure changes overnight?

Awesome. I don't**. Not at all.

Some states already allowed women to vote before the 19th Amendment. It's been 98 years since suffrage was granted across the land and 50 years since the sexual revolution. How long do you need?

**Not all feminists are man-haters (or lesbian), but all man-haters (and most lesbians) are "man-haters". One is a much smaller subset of the other. There is a similar phenomenon of gays hating women. I don't fully understand it, but it appears to be some form of jealousy or competition.

    https://www.theodysseyonline.com/radical-feminism-damaging-feminist-movement
There are quite a few issues I have with radical feminism. First and foremost, I’m sick of this new fad where women like to tear down men on social media and say things like “all men are trash” and “ugh I just hate men.” Tweeting about how you hate men isn't cute; honestly it’s just plain ignorant. I’m not going to sit here and pretend all men are angels and do no wrong, but women aren’t perfect either. People of both genders do horrible things, and there are people of both genders who are great people who don’t deserve to be categorized as “trash” just because of their gender.

This whole “man hating” fad is damaging the image of all feminists, most of whom believe that men and women should be treated equally and that men are not better than women and women are not better than men. Radical feminists hate the idea that some men believe they’re better than women, so I don’t know why they think it’s okay to try and state that women are better than men. FEMINISM IS ABOUT EQUALITY. These radical feminists who are constantly bashing men are what make people view all feminists as “man haters.” That is not what feminism is about, and I’m aggravated that radical feminists are tarnishing the feminist movement’s image by spewing this ignorance.

"Some of the worst misogyny I've experienced has come from gay men. It can feel almost more gross than it does from straight men. It's like, you're not even trying to express sexual interest in me, you're just asserting your dominance over my body just because you're a man—you're just doing it because you can."

How long has it been that married women could get their own credit cards? How long has it been since Harvard open the doors to women? How long has it been since women had reproductive freedom? How long has it been illegal to pay men more than women for the same work? And I can go on... I fought hard for these rights...And because things become illegal one day , attitudes don’t change,I am thrilled that my granddaughters can dream things that I never could.

Awesome, but none of that is an excuse for the misandry of radical feminists as linked previously. It's as wrong for feminists to hate men as it is for a white male to hate all blacks because they lost a job promotion to one black man.

The solution to our societal problems won't be found in hate. Hate motivates some, but in the long run, it delays progress due to backlash. Peaceful civil disobedience is a better method since it engenders public sympathy rather than public fear.

Any guesses where that comes from?: https://thedebrief.co.uk/news/opinion/think-sexism-uk-bad-see-australia/
Over 80% of Australian women don't believe they are treated equally to men.
....The reality is very different. In fact, I've never seen the same deep-seated and openly acceptable sexist attitudes that exist in Australia anywhere else – including The Middle East. In Dubai, I saw women in burkhas and abiyas everywhere I looked, but I also saw those women at work in managerial positions, and I never once heard any of them referred to as an ‘uptight bitch’, a ‘bossy cow’ or them being told they needed ‘a good seeing to' if they dared to stand up to overtly sexist behaviour at work. I’ve witnessed that kind of thing here in Australia as many times as I saw a covered face over there.....
Just look at how Australian politicians portray themselves on the world stage. Julia Gillard, Australia’s former prime minister, was treated abysmally while in office. On a menu for a Liberal National Party fundraiser, they declared they were serving up Julia Gillard quail with ‘small breasts, huge thighs and a big red box’ – and when there was a furore over it, dismissed it as ‘just a joke’ between the event’s two organisers. When current PM Tony Abbott led protests against her leadership, his supporters held up placards emblazoned with the words ‘bitch’ and 'witch’. It makes David Cameron telling Angela Eagle to ‘calm down, dear’ during a Commons exchange look tame by comparison. Currently, under Tony Abbott, Australia has one female cabinet minister – one. That’s two less women than the British and Afghan cabinets, respectively.

It's not just sexism in politics – it happens everywhere. Random (male) strangers have come up to me in IKEA and informed me that I’ll ‘need a good man’ to put the furniture I was buying together for me. Dating and making friends involves the same kind of imbalance. All dating sites are geared around ‘getting a root’ rather than finding a relationship and men here are certainly not shy about telling you that the role of women is to be seen and not heard..
    ...

    Meanwhile, in the US: http://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2013/12/11/chapter-2-equal-treatment-for-men-and-women/
The public is divided on the basic question of how society treats men and women. Four-in-ten say society generally treats men and women equally. A slightly larger share (45%) says society favors men over women. Only 9% say society favors women over men. Attitudes have changed considerably over the past 20 years. When the Gallup Organization asked this question in 1993, only 23% said society generally treats men and women equally, and 62% said society favors men over women.27

There’s a significant gender gap on this issue. Roughly half of men (46%) say that men and women are generally treated equally by society, while only 34% of women agree. Roughly half (53%) of women say society favors men over women, compared with 36% of men who say the same

That's a misandrist opinion. For me, it was about what Max is discussing. How much does Hollywood reflect real life, or is real life reflected in Hollywood? Yes, I know it is a book. The same questions may be asked.

How much have these productions driven fear in society? Did you know the author was recently attacked for telling the meetoo movement to take it easy or they will start bigger problems than realize?

Despite the open misogyny in countries like Australia and Islamic nations; the US still faces equality issues even if on a much lesser scale than elsewhere.

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2017/03/01/2017-womens-history-month/98247518/
....The number of women in politics is increasing — sluggishly. Women are 51% of the population, but make up 19% of Congress and only a quarter of state legislatures. Women are on course to reach parity with men by 2117, according to IWPR. Research shows women have different legislative priorities than men, and are more likely to introduce bills addressing the needs of women and children. Jennifer Lawless, author of Women on the Run: Gender, Media, and Political Campaigns in a Polarized Era, said the chief reason for unequal political participation is that women, perceiving bias, are less likely to run than men. When they do, she said, they are elected at the same rates.

Yep, I think all those women doctors and lawyers are weak, and all those Supreme Court justices are weak and those ceos etc. stop projecting your contempt for women. Actually there is a term for this and it’s called patriarchal reversal.

What does this have to do with gender domination?

You didn't ask about gender domination. You asked about blacks vs. whites.

That is such a silly argument of course it is wrong for anyone to hate men, but the most serious problem is men hating women because men usually have the power. I am a feminist and I love my husband and I love men as much as I love women not all but some. What do you mean by radical feminist? You mean an extremist who spews things you don’t like and then I don’t like? You have white supremacists who want a white Christian country, would it be fair of me to say Christians want a Christian country? When you take the extremists viewpoint and make it sound like it’s common place you lose credibility.
You see it’s very easy to tell people how they should behave when you have the privileges. Look how upset you get when some radicals bash men. Women have been bashed for centuries by being denied equality

Break it down by parties. Democrats have triple the amount of women and minorities and the GOP is mostly white males over 55
When the second wave of feminism took place there were about 12 female representives..now there are 104. 8.7% are Republicans and 32% are Dems.

    Hmmm An Ad Hom

Always like seeing those because it usually means I have won

But is is not strange that someone who purportedly comes from a country with such a poor record of womens rights would find THIS thread to be on a level of high school boy talk.

Ever since the tapes of Trump boasting about grabbing ***** there has been an avalanche of male chauvinism with similar behaviours `

Now anyone who has to rely on the fact that they were born with a certain skin colour or a penis and not a vagina to have any degree of self esteem then they are living very sad lives

How is a quoted article from a respected source a "Ad Hom"? Because you don't like it?

Please quote me where I posted a "Ad Hom" in that post.
