Ilhan Omar blames 'white privilege' for charges being drop

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) had a curt but controversial response to the news that the Department of Justice dropped their charges against Mike Flynn.

Omar tweeted on Thursday that the charges were dropped because of "white privilege."

OK... does anyone take this racist seriously? A rhetorical question... I know... will she be re-elected? I don’t want to speak bad of her voters, so I say, no way!

The DOJ decided this was a DOJ abuse of power and unjustified prosecution so they told they judge they were dismissing their charges and asked the court dismiss it entirely. This is new stuff the DOJ never admits when they are wrong but wrong they were here, grossly wrong and the DOJ is stepping up to the plate and admitting it. The two US Attorney's who were investigating and made the recommendation were working with Durham and his investigation. This is just the start of exposing what the high level FBI officials were engaged in to over turn the Trump administration.

It would be an acceptable process, but not the only one, and so it's not "the correct" one. The sovereign always and everywhere has the prerogative to decline or dismiss charges. Your way is tortuous and a waste of everyone's time. You don't make someone plead not guilty to a charge that you plan on dismissing anyway.

Well, you can if you really want to, I suppose.

Just curious, have you ever made a m mistake? Are you better than Gen. Flynn when you add up all his accomplishments, subtract the errors, and compare the balance to your own? Judge not ....

I think he got a story from Comey et al and accepted it and now wishes he didn't after he saw what they were up to.
