The Left Is the Culture War Aggressor

Teachers are nothing more than hired help, if they do what they're told they won't be fired. I don't want lectures from them on how to raise our children

 

So the issue is that a capitalist corporation is changing its content in order to gain more customers and keep the ones it has, but y'all see it as some sort of culture war. Am I understanding this correctly?

I think Disney will actually lose customers, but they don't care. The woke agenda is more important to their leadership right now than any effect it has on business. That will change when stockholders get mad enough to demand changes.

 

If a K-3 child asks a teacher they can say "its for going to the bathroom". If the child wants more info, refer them to their parents.

Teachers of K-3 don't need to make sexual references of any kind. If a teacher in FL or in some of these other states that are implementing anti-grooming laws starts talking to kids of that age about her sex life, or theirs, they will be quickly hustled out the door.

LOL, the only aggresors in the fake "culture wars" are the so called conservatives on the internet. Beginning in 1991, "culture wars" has been more prominent on American Conservative politics than any other topic or subject, all started by James Davidson Hunter. It began with "traditional family" values and how that was being erroded by those "evil" Democrats and the ease of divorce. Then after 9/11, it was anything and everything Muslim, how Islam "is not a real religion" and the list goes on, then it became the Hispanics and general until the GOP figured that Hispanics were very traditional when it comes to marriage and family. And now, it is LGBTQ and the "radical left." Give me a break XX. The only thing radical is the so called conservatives like you, who try to be morally supereior, yet fail at any and every turn on these issues. The tactics, use fear, intimidation, and misinformation on a group that makes up less than 2% of the total population. Why? Because they are different and you don't understand? Or is it because you want to try to impose your own version of morality that really isn't very morale at all?

Bear in mind, we make "sexual references" all the time such as the boys go into the boys restroom and the girls go into the girls restrooms. Boy/girl is the "sexual reference" here Zorro, at least, to a 5 year old, 6 year old, or 7 year old.

 

And every ethnic group has gone through it's struggles. Remember, in NYC there were signs that use to say "No dogs or Irish allowed" or seperate restrooms for blacks and whites, or that the "wrong side of the tracks" referred to any and every ethnic group that was deemed unfavorable by society, and the list goes on.

And today, we still have people like that, and we call them "modern conservatives."

In fact, you can be sued for, the district can be sued, or even third parties can be sued if they make any, and I do mean literally, any reference to sexual orientation or gender identity. This is in HB 7, which is part of three bills, passed together, in the Florida's attempt to limit LGBTQ rights and free speech. Then there is HB 1557, which is the so called "parental rights bill" a seperate bill than HB 7. In that bill, the section that says, "or in a manner that is not age100 appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards." In this section, it can be argued that no age is appropriate to discuss sexual orientation or gender identity, even as a senior in high school. Otherwise, a parent can follow the guidelines in that bill to "resolve the matter" under the new state law and guidelines. HB 7 has some educational instruction, but it takes out "gender" and exclusively uses "sex" in that bill. Together, LBBTQ rights have been obliterated under state law of Florida, along with free speech.

Every theme park, sports stadium, and hotel overcharges for their convenience food. Been to Westin this last two days and a 20 oz soda was $4.50 per bottle, in the "complimentary" refrigerator. Go to Motel 6, Holiday Inn, Marriot, and it is anywhere from $2.50 for a 12 oz can to $5 for a 20 oz bottle, at least in the USA. Go to ATT Stadium or any other stadium and you will be paying a lot more than from a street vendor or a casual restaurant.

This is not news. And yes, That is where Disney and other Theme parks get you with your money. Take into consideration any cruise ship and those "specialty" restaraunts that are not part of the packaged deal you buy for that room. $25 for a Guy Fieri hamburger some 10 years ago on Carnival. Not sure if that is the same now. But the point is that not all food is free on cruise ships and that can get quite expensive, along with drinks, even bottled water, and other charges. So, Disney is doing the "capitalistic" thing and conservatives are upset? Go figure.

 

I don't think they will. Disney is a very global company with theme parks in 7 locations, including 5 outside the United States, I believe. So, their customer base will expand no matter what so called conservatives do or yell or spam the internet with their typo warrior skills, etc.

Of course, there was a time there was no "PG" movie until the movie "The Black Hole" came into being. It also has several movie studios and depending on the type of movie and it's rating will depend on which movie studio will produce that movie. Disney also owns ESPN and all the sports that are gravitating towards that brand. So, now, Disney is nowhere going to lose as many customers as you might think,

 

Yes. yeas they have! But in all my years I have NEVER seen racial tensions as high as they are today! And you can thank the DNC for that! Close to a century they have kept them in burrows, ghetto's and penniless dependent's simply to supply votes for them.. Again, the war on poverty, the DNC politicians cookie cutter campaign speech's and unrealized promises tell the whole story..

Conservatives are infinitely more tolerant than liberals, made obvious on this very forum.

 

Somehow, the LGBTQ community would disagree with you, or anyone who is thinking about an abortion because the father of said child left cold turkey the moment the girl they are seeing is pregnant, or anyone who is coming from areas like the ME, Asia, or Latin America feels because they cannot obtain the same benefits as the nativists, and the list goes on.

Or in other words, you are "tolerant" as long as people think your way and act your way. Other than that, the modern conservatives are not very tolerant at all.

Or how about Sen. Lindsey Graham who said if the GOP controlled the Senate, Justice Jackson would never get a hearing. Is that tolerant?

Or that Judge Garland never got a hearing because the Right was so afraid of not putting on a judge they don't agree with. Is that tolerant?

The answers to each of those questions is no.

 

Like I said, there were three judges that the GOP sponsored who did the same thing as Jackson, All of them were confirmed and not one GOP senator raised their voices on those concerns between 2017 to 2020 about being laxed on child pornography. So again, why is Justice Jackson different? Because she is black, educated, has a different judicial philospohy than the three other judges who were confirmed?
