Why in the world would you give someone like Bob Woodward any sort of credibility in believing an "anonymous" source he is using?

Quick fact: if it had been a Democratic Party presidential administration that attempted a break-in into the Republican Party headquarters at the Watergate Hotel, Ben Bradlee would have told Woodward and Bernstein to simply ignore their source and move on to another story.

How do we know this? We saw it occur time and time again in the Washington Post, New York Times and other left-leaning news organizations during the Obama administration. Anyone paying attention is well aware of this, which is why these "journalists" lost their credibility with normal Americans years ago.

Woodward might have a source within the Trump White House. He might have embellished what this source said, if he did, indeed, actually have one. Or he is simply repeating gossip he read online. Or he might be making stuff up.

And a New York Times editorial? It is no better than Tass was in promoting party propaganda.

I am not a Trump guy, by any means. But the mainstream media has lost any credibility they might have had based on their unhinged attempts to advance the liberal/progressive/socialist agenda they wholeheartedly have embraced...

 

This has nothing to do with Bob Woodward. And the NYT is fully aware of who the writer of the op-ed piece is. The NYT didn't write this piece, the high level Trump official wrote it - which is why the White House is busy trying to find this individual. I do believe the administration will find out who this is, and if they have any smarts at all, it shouldn't take very long.

 

Sorry, but there is no dispute about the nature of Russia's meddling. This, as opposed to quite a bit of dissent inside the intel agencies about WMD's, not to mention the work of the UN inspectors who consistently reported a lack of evidence of an active WMD program.
