What he and others like him don’t seem to realize is the horse has already left the barn. No amount of manufactured outrage at transgenders is going to stop it. No amount of ridiculing them, bullying them, etc is going to stop people from this whole transgender thing. And this is coming from someone who doesn’t “get it”. I personally believe there are two genders and that one can’t just decide to change their gender and expect everyone to believe they are the opposite gender they were born. Where in the world did I say that? Re-read what I said. Do you think parents who groom their children to have sex with them should be allowed? Or does "nanny state" know best? IE: Not all things are acceptable for parents and children to decide. Society has a responsibility to protect children, even from their parents if necessary, and from crazed doctors and psychologists.

As for your what if question, are you asking about parents grooming their kids to have sex with other kids or with the parents. I’m quite certain incest is against the law. So are you asking if I support that law? Why yes I do.

True now but wait about five years.... 10 years ago only a handful people would have even though about letting a boy into the girls bathroom because he felt like a girl. And I new more than a few teenage dudes that would have volunteered to wear a dress for a day or two if it got then access to the girls locker room.

What my solution? As I've said about a thousand times treat the condition don't glorify don't try to do one size fits all with surgery. There is not a shred of evidence that gender affirming care prevents suicide let along shoving the kids full of hormone blockers and crap whose long term effects remain largely unknown in juveniles. There is a reason most of Europe except England are jumping off that band wagon even faster than they climbed on it. There was an article about this crap in the NYT recently about this that will tell you the same thing I just did. As I said earlier, we don't try to teach paranoid schizophrenics that they should listen to the voices in their heads why should we try to act like gender diasphoria is normal?

 

Just do away with gendered bathrooms, and have fully partitioned changing and pooping/peeing stalls. Problem solved.

And BTW, why does America have bathroom stalls with huge cracks you can see through? Is there a reason for this?

 

We're talking about kids. They still need parental guidance for most of the daily process of living and they aren't quite ready to decide to surgically alter their body.

 

Which is properly called gender diasphoria and is not normal and should be treated like any other psychoses/neuroses.
