Wow! This is the reaction to one Swedish teenage girl?

Wow! I thought Americans believed in free speech? Have you never heard “sticks and stones”?

BTW Greta thanks you for the free publicity

Wow , how far America has changed in last 15 years. 15-20 years ago liberals used to stands in front mall and shame capitalist ( republican) for exploiting children for cheap goods. Now conservative shaming liberals about electric car and iphone.

But that’s politics. Now let’s get back to reality. Have you ever been to any of these third world country and worked with poor children and people who live less then $1 a day? I have. I have worked as volunteer in refuges camp in Bangladesh , I have worked among Hindu Ashram in Kolkata. Sitting in USA or Europe it is very easy to shame each other about exploiting child labor or toxic dump in Congo, but if you know the alternative, child labor sound much better. Yes, we can stop buying IPHON or tesla, that will not stop child labor in Congo. We can stop buying sweatpants but that will not stop child labor in Bangladesh. Even if it does stop it, dying in hunger is not better then child labor.

Wow, you act like I put that one Swedish teenage girl on a pedestal, made her an international icon and role model of the EcoLeft and gave her a global platform at the UN's climate confabs to berate the awful people who "stole her dreams and childhood", as if she was some poor kid breaking rocks in a Congolese artisanal mine.

Wow, I thought the same thing about Australians at one time, too.

Have you all forgotten the fact that criticism qualifies as free speech, too? As far as I'm concerned, she's free to spew her holier than thou BS just as people are free to call BS on it. See how free speech works? It works everybody's way, not just your way.

I'm sure she does, after all, I stole her dreams and childhood.

llyorOf course it is easy for leftists to claim moral superiority. But that claim is belied by your reliance on black and brown people doing the dirrty and dangerous work needed to "make the world a better place." It seems to me you are little better than the southern slave masters.

And your bullets are mined in China by child labor as well (54% of all lead comes from from China). You need a mirror for that glass house of yours.

I do not own an electric car, nor do care if you do - Musk does though

I also don't like cloud based gas cars... with tons of digital stuff to go wrong in them - what if your scheme to control all cars by the cloud fails?

Yeah specifically for being Elon musk welfare.

He just raised the price of his cars again. The government that said they'd pay a percentage of the price so that savings doesn't go to the customer and goes into you Elon musk's pocket so the rich get richer thanks to the so-called progressives.

It doesn't matter which team the scumbag behind the curtain place for they still turn the knobs the same way.

And you and I are the still equally ****ed. If you have a job and you pay taxes you're buying someone's luxury car for them. Which really means just helping you on must get more money.

That's what happens with these things

Elon musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, sandor pachai.

I wouldn't consider these people liberals because liberals are called far right now they're leftists that means left but authoritarian.

Any other 100% on the left who do you think Greece's their wheels. Who do you think offers them corporate welfare?

FOLLOW THE MONEY: “Isn’t it strange that Greta Thunberg never goes to Beijing and that so many in the climate movement want to let China off the hook for leading the world in carbon emissions?”

    Yes. Follow the money.

'Ask yourself, who benefits the most from the world shifting to “renewable” energy? That would be China, which provides or controls much of the rare earth materials needed to produce things like batteries and solar panels (neither of which are renewable, by the way). Someone should really look into how much of the climate cult is being funded by Chinese interests, wouldn’t you say?'
