The smug style in American liberalism

Intellectuals in business play on a level playing field. Intellectuals in public sector hide in swaths off like mindedness and shun any dissent holding actual grudges that deeply affect career goals.

 

And how much of that silliness and propaganda have I been pointing out?
That propaganda and silliness is exactly what this thread is about. Conservative types trying to define liberals when obviously none of of you have a clue. Actually I don't think that it is that you don't have a clue, I think that is is much worse than that. I think that the misunderstanding conservatives have of liberals is entirely purposefully and malicious.

On this forum I am constantly being told that I am communist, a fascist, that I love Muslims, that I hate freedom, that I want to control everyone, and on and on and on. Obviously most of what conservatives say about liberals is made up crap. When I first started posting on this forum I would take the time to explain to conservatives how liberals really are. Unfortunately conservatives want nothing of the sort. It seem the primary purpose of many conservatives on this forum and elsewhere is to exclaim how stupid and wrong they think liberals are. It would be one thing if they had legitimate complaints. But that is not the case. After awhile how can I refer to the typical arguments made by conservatives as anything but silliness. But then it couldn't be propaganda or otherwise you all wouldn't be listening to, reading, and watching the same sources and then sounding strikingly similar to those sources.

 

Now doubt there are faults on the conservative side, but as a Liberal, I hold higher standards to those on the left. Which going by this site alone, the right has been more willing to have an honest discussion. I've yet to have such a thing from those whom share my position on the left. Anyone that steps outside of the promotion of BLM, pacifism toward Islam while attacking Christianity, promotion of the idea of "white privilege", is labeled right wing, as demonstrated by your reply to me.

 

How would you know? I have spent a few decades as an intellectual in business. Not sure what level playing field you are talking about as business, even within a company it can get pretty rough. The last part seems to be little more than the usual silliness. (see post #77)

I was referring to your dismissal of opposing viewpoint without the substance of an argument. I was providing an example, which you do fall under. Should accountability in arguments and intellectual honesty be exclusive to right wingers? And my summation is validated by this, your follow up post. Perhaps there's a history in this site I'm missing, but that shouldn't be an excuse to not provide substantive arguments. That's how you win, not repeating "silliness".

 

They consider250k rich....which means, they want to use tax to achieve a competitive advantage. The death tax is the same ploy.
