You are thinking like an adult male. Thirteen year old girls are not stupid but the input of adults related to this situation is very important. The last thought goes to the fetus. This child was raped, this child is now pregnant. It is obviously up to the family what happens next. She could go through the trauma of giving birth and there is extra trauma if her body isn’t fully grown yet. There is the social trauma of being pregnant at that age. Then there is the question of where the newborn goes — will the 13 year old parents be willing to raise a rapists child. Is the child to go into the system? Or abortion — if done properly with proper counselling, it doesn’t have to be traumatic. At the end of the day, it’s none of your business.

Lots of young girls do not get their periods regularly and lots of teenage girls don’t tell their parents things. This child was raped, don’t put any blame on the parents. They are likely devastated by this.

The proof of rape is the pregnancy. She is a child, therefore it was rape.

The problem is that the police have not publicly concluded that a rape occurred (as stated in the OP), though it was obviously rape. The way that the law was designed, on purpose , is that anyone carrying out the abortion could be charged with murder.
