Do you even read the links you post?

"Since 1979, the unemployment rate for blacks has tracked the same ups and downs as the overall rate, but it's usually been at least twice as high."

"The Department of Labor’s latest jobs report, which was released last Friday, shows that 12.6 percent of Black Americans were unemployed in July, compared to 13.7 percent in June. This is the lowest rate since Barack Obama became president..'

So historically the black unemployment rate is twice that of the national average, in July it was 7.4% with black UE at 12.6% which is 20% under the historical rate.

In most circles this is what's known as an arse kicking.

Sean Hannity has been poisonous to America for years. But when Obama was elected, the KKK Hannity was unleashed like the Kracken.

Which if you really think about it, are actually phenomenal numbers considering the great recession bled 800,000 jobs a month. Although the other real problem, is that many jobs out there, aren't applying a livable wage for the many who are hired. Income disparity right now is at 240 to 10. People cannot pay their bills with this kind of disparity. When looking at these numbers at the beginning of 2009 to what is going on now, you have to ask yourself, what is Hannity's REAL problem with Obama?

But he's often right. When it all gets down to it, he's mostly about people becoming lazier, which they are and depending on govt more, which they are, all the while crying "poor me, poor me". He's a little off on other things, but his main talk point that far too many people living here have lost much of they're self reliance, is SPOT ON. He knows illegal immigration is a huge problem, which it is. He knows there is corruption and pandering on both sides, which there is. He knows radical Islam is a problem which it certainly is.

Sorry, but is he WRONG? Not a chance.

How do you feel about your first amendment right to post this vitriolic mass hysteria? If you don't like Hannity, is someone forcing you to watch? Just do the same thing everyone does when they are bored with MSNBC, turn the channel to a test pattern for a rush of excitement.

Really? When people cry poor me poor when there is income disparity at 240 to 10 and $7.25 an hour does not pay the rent and the light bill, when there are way more people than there are jobs out there, when tax breaks are given to job creators who use our money we give them to use other than creating good jobs, insurance companies that shouldn't exist who dictate whether we get healthcare or not, organizations such as ALEC, Citizens United, and the Heritage Foundation lobby politicians to set policy rigged against the poor so as the poor have no chance at success, because of the under the table, mafia stranglehold these people have on our government, and you want to criticize those for crying out poor me? ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? All those people have between life and death is poor me. And if it were me, I'd be crying poor me as loud as them. And good for them. Because if they don't work the system they are DEAD.

Ok……..so posting pictures of the president playing golf (as if it were a crime) or him picking his teeth (the way 6 billion other people on the planet do) or people with signs that say “We Need Jobs”……because no jobs bill has passed that REPUBLICANS have blocked over, and over, and over, and over again mean what exactly????

Every other president we’ve ever had has taken vacations and/or played golf and it was just fine with the American people. (except for this president)

This president has footed the bill on many of his vacations - that have been less than his predecessors. (but that never seems to get reported)

Republicans have been less than genuine in their arguments and more than hypocritical in their positions regarding every bill offered by this president and his administration.

    These are facts………………………………not silly pictures.

I don’t hate anybody, and I wasn’t talking about myself. I actually defended President Bush on many occasions and I used to have a tremendous amount of respect for John McCain before he became “flip-flopper in chief”

I was talking about the people that wore those nifty little “Make the Whitehouse White Again” tee shirts during the last election, all the southern restaurant owners who hung effigies of the president hanging from a noose in front of the establishments, and the millions of others in this country that literally had melt-downs the day the man was elected, burned their American flags, and basically decided this was no longer America.

And maybe you missed my paragraph on the bomb throwers on the left comments or possibly you selectively decided to leave that out of your reply to me.

Ok so where exactly in my post did I glorify MSNBC or Chris Mathews, no need to show me any clips of Chris because I know how worked up he can get.

The difference between Chris & Sean though is that Chris mocks other pundits & politicians, he doesn’t outright make up stuff just so his network can come back on the air at midnight when no one is watching to make a corrections and apologies the way FOX constantly does.

I’ll show you 100 corrections from Fox to MNSBC’s 1 any day of the week buddy….

I know, let’s hope that his over the top methodology will either turn people off or make them wake up to see just how personal all of this stuff is and thereby lesson their credibility......

My friend I’m not an extreme anything………………..here we go.

When Barack Obama announced his intentions to run for president my first reaction was “who is this guy” not “oh my God a black guy, I have to run out and vote for him”.

I actually looked at John McCain and was impressed with the way he tried to keep things civil but was completely turned off when he chose Sarah Palin as a running partner, a figure I think even you guys are disappointed and sick of at this point.

I read both of the president’s books that “he wrote” and what impressed me about the guy was the fact that with his education and golden opportunity to make buckets of money…………he chose a much less glamorous road that paid him pennies.

This man had the world by the short hairs and decided not to go the corporate-greed route, and that impressed me along with his political & world views.

When Barack Obama was elected the first bit of news I heard was a man up in Maine that went nuts and killed himself after he burned his flag. His wife told the cops that the election of the black guy sent him over the edge.

How about all the folks in the south that have hanging effigies of the president in their front yard and are proud of them, or all the people that went out and joined the first Arian Nation group they could find.

I travel for a living and I’ve been to every state except for two, and yes, I can verify that the seething hatred for the president exists, and most of it exists because of people like Sean Hannity. I don’t get my opinions from liberal media outlets, I get it straight from the horses mouth.

I could sit here and type a books worth of examples but rather than do that lest try this.

Tell me (through writing of course) with a straight face that millions of people across this country didn’t absolutely loose it when Barack Obama became the first black president of the United States.

The man doesn’t walk on water, he’s no king, and he never said he was. (Sean gave him that distinction)

You’ll never hear me say that he’s perfect or that he has all the answers, but the right has been relentless in trying to destroy him & his presidency, and I always thought we were better than that.

Wow, you said that, I mean you openly said something that vile? (oh and by the way that was a question, not an insult)

First, not every black person in the country voted for Barack Obama, and the majority that did - voted for him because of party affiliation or believe in his message, not his skin color. (many did yes, but not all)

The jobless problem is America’s problem, not “a black people’s problem”

There is no jobs bill because republicans made a conscious decision years ago to oppose EVERYTHING………….that would include a jobs bill as well in case you missed the point.

My post was about our political conversation being poisoned by pundits and radio personalities stoking fears of fire & destruction where there is none. Not about black people being out of work.

And just what is it with you guys constantly posting pictures of the president playing golf like either that’s all he does or like that’s supposed to evoke some sort of ironic rage from people that are out of work?

Seriously…………enough with the golf nonsense already, its old & pointless.

    Surely you’re joking right?????

I mean seriously, really, seriously……………….your joking right?

I’m not sure if that was an attempt at dry humor but, there’s no way in the world you truly believe that what Sean Hannity does is: “critiquing a politicians policies” ??

    Two questions……….

If they are just friendly, harmless critiques, then why does Fox News constantly make apologies and/or corrections to almost every story Sean reports on?

Why has every third-party, neutral, non-partisan fact checking organization rate his news segments in the 4 alarm pants on fire category?

Unfortunately I'd have to agree with you....

I say unfortunately because really there's no need to be that way and all it does is poison the well.

You're quoting a character from a pro-choice atheist author. Is that your position? Did you actually read the book or just wait for the movie? Her books are all about her philosophy and her philosophy embodies atheism and is completely opposed to the anti-abortion position. You do know that right?

I happen to like the constitution just the way it is thank you very much, so if that was some juvenile attempt at trying to flesh me out as some "extreme communist, American hating lefty"……………………..fail.

I have lost count of the times I have been sitting in hotels rooms all across this country while traveling on business trips tuning into Fox just to feel nauseous after about 5 minutes of: we hate the president, we hate the president, we hate the president, we hate the president – which is all it is.

And another thing, why is it that whenever a democrat posts something in this forum you righties all call it “vitriol” you call everything we post as vitriol.

You must either really like that word or are a little word deficient and can’t find a new one.

So kids complain they can't find jobs, because they majored in philosophy and don't understand why...thats the businesses fault? The people who had 3 kids but weren't qualified for anything other than minimum wage...yeah thats a CEO's fault?

Also, politicians shouldn't be allowed to give money to anyone they have any relation to. See Pelosi!! Lobbyists shouldn't exist. I never said the poor don't have it bad. They do. But if you think most of them are in dire straights due to no fault of their own, YOU must be kidding. Also, your buddies in the Liberal side are just as against the poor as anyone else. How do you think Democrats stay in power? The POOR and govt employees!! Without them, who's their voting block=)

This is absolutely fantastic. I love these posts. You like the constitution the way it is you just want to remove someone from the airwaves because you don't like what they are saying. You might want to brush up on the 1st Amendment since you are advocating removal of someones free speech yet have made opposite statements that like the constitution the way it is.
Why would we use a different word if vitriol fits lefties absolutely perfectly?

Actually, you will find that a lot more right-leaning Libertarians than leftists oppose giving the churches any stake in society. Ayn Rand referred to religious authorities of any sort as "witch doctors."

First: You’re putting words in my mouth and rearranging my post. I never said that I wanted anybody yanked of the air infringing on anybody’s 1st amendment rights.

I said I was glad to see that Hannity was gone so that maybe now some of the inflammatory comments could lesson, and thereby calm people down opposed to getting them worked up over nothing.

Maybe now people can start to think for themselves instead of being fed a diatribe of lies 24 hours a day.

Being happy that a radio or television personality is no longer on the air is not the same as advocating for them to be removed...........but I think you know that.

If I'm happy about A-Rod being banned from playing baseball am I also infringing on his rights?? Come on man, give me a break.

Second: here are a plethora of links for you to check out (that you will undoubtedly either won’t, or dismiss as liberals sites not worth your time) but I really wish you would read them with an open mind to see just how bogus Fox truly is.

Ok, so I see that you as well just don’t want to address the issue here and dismiss me as some joker.

I say a whole bunch of thought provoking stuff to get people thinking or try to stimulate some honest dialog and all you want to do is call me a joker.

    It’s one of two things:

    A. you truly have no ammunition so you defer to one line replies with no real answers.

    B. you know darn well I’m right and you have nothing to say.

Try reading some of these links with an open mind, don’t dismiss them as liberal leaning web sites (which their not) and get back to me with something a little more substantive than a one line response..

I love these posts too! Nah you didn't say it you just said this
"Sean and everybody like Sean (on the left and right) should have their shows yanked from them so the mass hysteria can finally stop and legislating can begin"
Also I did noting to your posts.

Ahhhhhhhhh…………………I’m only agreeing with what happened to Mr. Hannity “after the fact”

Yes, I did say that, but the meaning was: “people who use the media as a tool of destruction or as a platform to cause civil unrest with miss-information as some people do on all sides of the political landscape should have their shows yanked from them if their network sees fit.” (and I apologize for not making that more clear)

I didn’t start a post that was titled: “let’s all make petitions to get rid of Sean Hannity”

Yes, I am absolutely a supporter of our 1st amendment rights, but it is illegal to yell fire in a crowded theatre and what Sean Hannity and so many others do is in fact yell fire in a crowded theatre on a nightly basis.

Now, if you chose to believe that what Mr. Hannity does is healthy or helpful to our national, political discourse I respect that.

But I also respectfully disagree with you, I think it’s absolutely shameful to go on national television knowing millions of people hang on your every word, and lie to them for political purposes or even worse personal reasons.

And that’s my biggest gripe with Fox; almost everyone on Fox does what they do because they are incensed over the fact that Barack Obama is the president. For Christ’s sake you can literally see them fomenting at the mere mention of the man’s name.

And finally yes, if we had a mild mannered republican president right now and MSNBC was unabashedly castrating the guy nightly because they didn’t like him personally or were so affixed to their left leaning political views (the way the pundits on Fox are so affixed to their political views) I would say the same thing about them.

Actually you are wrong. he has many viewers and listeners who are hispanic and black. You should actually try listening to him next time, you might have found that out already without looking like a complete jackass.
