It is obvious to anyone that there is a concerted effort by the left to "get" Christians.

I'm sorry that you are incapable of admitting such, it completely ends any chance we would have had at a reasonable conversation.

Here's my list of presidential votes...

    Nixon
    Ford
    Reagan
    Reagan
    Bush
    Bush
    Dole
    Bush
    Bush
    McCain
    Romney

So those of you who keep calling me a lib put that in your pipe and smoke it.

I'm not a religious conservative, I'm an economic conservative. But to the jebus humpers I might as well be satan.

And that is why if true conservatism is ever to flourish we need to kick the religious conservatives out of the party. Conservatism was never about religious issues, it was about the size of government, taxes, the constitution, civil liberties and the the pursuit of happiness.

Let the religulous start their own party and you can have Sarah Palin, Bachmann and Jerry Falwell. True conservatives can make up your votes from independents and right leaning democrats who actually agree with economic issues but are frightened to have the country and our laws dictated from the extreme religious right wing.

Real conservatism has suffered by being associated with these bungholes, it's time to cut them loose.

You voted for Romney... you know he's a Mormon, right?????? a "Jebus humper" as you like to call it... Sounds fishy that you voted for him. I would be curious to see why you voted for him... . >>>MOD EDIT: INSULT<<<

Weird, all the other presidential candidates were christian as well...even the dems.

All you've proven by this comment is your religious bigotry. I happen to have liked the platform of Romney and I don't remember once during his campaign how he went off on bringing "jebus values" back to the presidency....unlike Palin or Santorem.

Romney would have made an excellent president, too bad he lost.

You think McCain and Romney would have continued Clinton's policies?

I guess I'm kinda wondering how someone can go from, "was going to vote for Hillary", to voting for McCain and Romney.....

LOL religion has ALWAYS been a key factor in American politics. Only someone completely ignorant of our history would claim otherwise.

Oh also, "true conservatism" doesn't just apply to fiscial conservatism, especially not simply b/c you say so. Of course you're not ever going to agree with EVERYTHING any political party says, but the Republican party has at least in the last 100 years represented social and economic conservative policy.

You're claiming otherwise is like saying the Democrat party is for a liberal economic policy, but socially they aren't liberal. Well, obviously they are.

I happen to agree that the Republican party needs to be a little less socially conservative, but on the hand I might be a Democrat if they were a little more socially conservative.

You see one extreme group has pushed the other to be more extreme. You have (*)(*)(*)(*) marching around in assless chaps demanding that people who don't wish to see that view it anyway and then demanding that they get to do business with people who don't want to do business with them, well OF COURSE you are then going to have people grouping together and demanding a more conservative society.

The bung hole around here is people like YOU who want to shut conservative Christians up. and don't bother denying it, you have made it clear that that is what you wish would happen.

When you are a leftist, the last thing you want is a logical thinking rational person critiqing your politician's policies and decisions. Your post is a clear example of that.

Not what I said. I said I think that Gore and Hillary would have continued Bill's policies. I frankly voted for McCain and Romney simply as a vote AGAINST Obama who in 2008 I felt had no experience and in 2012 I felt had proven that he sucked at the job.

Still didn't answer the question. What specifically did you like about the Mormon Romney that you didn't like about Obama... You cannot just say "platform"... that's too much of a cop-out... something that a liberal would say to make it seem like they aren't a liberal...

So you would have voted for Gore or Hillary but not the negro who had the same platform?

    Pretty much says it all.

You mean. . .the Fox sheep?

I actually blame THEM and their inability to use critical, independent thinking, and their total acceptance of the crap spewed by the likes of Hannity and Beck.

Really? And how was the platform of Obama different then Hillary and Gore?

Did you know any lifelong democrat voters who refused to vote for Obama and if so can you tell us why? Evidently, they were telling you all through the campaign season....so it shouldn't be hard.

So again, why did you feel the need to interject racial issues in a thread that has nothing to do with it and then laugh at the plight of black people who are suffering?

Is there some reason you felt a need to interject racial issues here?

I keep asking you and you keep dodging my question, leading me to belief the comment made the other member about racists may have some merity.

C'mon Sadanie, the Fox sheep are no different then the MSNBC sheep. To claim otherwise is not being intellectually honest.

Okay, I'm going to explain it to you real slow so this time. The reason I feel I need to interject racial issues in this thread and laugh at the plight of black people who are suffering IS the following.... Black people voted for Obama in masses and now they are receiving their just rewards. Why did I interject race? Because these people who voted for Obama in masses and who are getting hurt dis-proportionately... well, they are black .. that is why I interjected race. If you want to ignore the fact that BLACKS are getting hurt, you can do that. Pretend that Black people are not suffering, that is your call. To efficiently solve any issue, you have to know all the facts.. the fact is they are black. But if you want to ignore the issue... like I said, well, its your call.

(okay, you cannot tell if these homeless people are black... but using the power of statistic, you can bet there a disproportionate number)

    Oh look, homeless black babies:

I bet you there are a disproportionate number of them compared to the other races.. Oh well, whatever, Obama.. he's so AWESOME!!!! yhey!!!

So you just figured that out of nowhere in a thread that had nothing to do with black folks you'd interject your snickering and laughter at black people for suffering because of the recession. Because many of them voted for Obama. Got it.

I'll just conclude the other fellow was right. http://www.politicalforum.com/curre...hannity-losing-his-slot-5.html#post1062992070

Well either that or the Dem candidate was a guy who had no work history of leadership to show that he was ready to be POTUS. Then of course by the next election we had seen what kind of job he is doing and would continue to do.

You insult yourself as well as others when you spout that anyone who voted against Obama is a racist.

Obama is out there right now thinking when he can sneak in another round of golf...

Yep... It's not Obama and his administrations fault for high black high unemployment.. Its the "recession"'s fault. Kinda like saying, sorry there are no jobs.. its not our fault.. there are just "no jobs"... its a "recession" after all.. blame it on the "recession"... Sorry we didn't give you a cake for your birthday. We would have baked you a cake, there there just weren't any cake so we didn't bake a cake....

I'm sorry, are you claiming the black unemployment rate is higher now then shortly after Obama took office? Because in mid 2009 right after he was inaugurated it was around 17% and now it is 12.5%.

So tell us how blacks are being hurt by Obama policies?
