But Guess which one gets Twitter Attacked less than 55 minutes after resigning? ... and Guess which ones don't get immediately Twitter Attacked? Three CEOs are walking away from President Trump. The chief executives of Merck, Under Armour and Intel all quit a presidential manufacturing council on Monday after Trump took two days to denounce white supremacy. Most notable was Kenneth Frazier of Merck (MRK), one of the most prominent black executives in the United States, who said the nation's leaders "must honor our fundamental values by clearly rejecting expressions of hatred, bigotry and group supremacy." The aftermath of the violence at a neo-Nazi and white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, represents the latest break between Trump, who sold himself as a businessman president, and leaders of corporate America. They have also loudly opposed him on immigration and his decision to pull the United States out of the Paris climate agreement. http://money.cnn.com/2017/08/15/news/trump-charlottesville-ceos/index.html
I was only aware of Ken Frazier quitting but I admire any one that walks out on that administration. To me it would be a huge embarrassment to be associated to trump in any way.
I understand that it is up to 5, five CEO's who have walked away from the Charlatan Who Thinks he is King. Sad how Trump the politician has betrayed the people of America.
They have also loudly opposed him on immigration and his decision to pull the United States out of the Paris climate agreement. For this ^ I would have tweeted, "don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out".
they only walk away because it might affect their companys bottom line because with the Mass emotional mob lefty cult would threaten a boycott of their goods and services that produce .
The White Nationalists need to keep identifying themselves publicly. Thanks! And Trump only attacked the black CEO............hummm. More dog whistles and a wink.
No, he didn't. He denounced it the way he should have the first time. Groups didn't need to be singled out at all, his first statement was pointed at all...as it should have been. His only mistake here was caving in to forces that weren't going to care anyway with his second, more targeted denouncement.
Yeah, I think ever since Trump clamped down on the visa programs that they were using to undercut American workers. But who knows.
He didn't target the first time but instead stated that they were going to investigate this issue. Then after the guy was found and charged Trump came back and targeted the group. Seems like he was waiting for more information on the killer before he made any claims. Problem is that the left believe that being a racist already means you are guilty of the crime. I don't think he caved. I think he was just waiting for all the information and did what he was going to do anyways. I cannot see Trump caving. He usually just digs in harder.
It's amazing watching leftists go nuts. These CEO's are the 1% just a short few years ago being attacked by the left. Now, they are heroes....lol. Never mind they are the same CEOs of big corporations who are using slave labor....ala illegal immigrants & foreign cheap slave labor to build the products and goods that these lefties love and adore and want more of. It's to the point I can't keep up with the amount flips the left has done since Trump became president. So some 1%ers quit some advisory council because they didn't like Trump denouncing all sides of racism. Wow, what a lose. So because the ignorant, masses couldn't understand Trump's 1st statement condemning all sides in the fake psy-op in a super liberal town...he had to come out and spell it out for the idiot zombies who live among us, who are tearing down our country brick by brick.
Pretty much on point! So much of our economy is being propped by unimaginable, unethical business behavior that when it finally comes to a head, it will crash.
Or is the truth that they could compromise on certain issues but when it comes to racism and NAZISM their morality could not allow them to stick with that charlatan who thinks he is god.
No, the POS went easy on the AltRight, Nazis, KKK, and White Nationalists even though he knew damned well that those groups/gangs are the ones who precipitated the violence. He tried to equate the BLM as the same as Nazis or the. I find that the BLM are a bit aggressive and groups use their name to do bad things but the aim of BLM is equality not separatism.
That's BS. It takes 2 sides to engage in this violence, and only one side was having a march. The side that showed up, uninvited to squash said free speech march was the side that precipitated it, and that was the left as usual.
Sounds like trump should have praised the nazis and attacked the people who threw themselves in front of this poor mans car.
I'm all for that, as long as we're naming ALL of them...not just the ones the Liberals want named. I think Trump handled it fine on his first response.
