Transgender sprinters finish 1st, 2nd at Connecticut girls indoor track championships

    So for those who are keeping up with actual science and biology, 2 males beat the actual females in a female category for sprinting. When will the war on biology and women be over for the LGBT community? Are we comfortable teaching children that biology and science don't matter with it comes to identifying sex and its a person's feelings that determine gender?


    One of their competitors, Selina Soule, says the issue is about fairness on the track with wider implications. The Glastonbury High School junior finished eighth in the 55, missing out on qualifying for the New England regionals by two spots.

    Soule believes that had Miller and Yearwood not run, she would be on her way to race in Boston in front of more college coaches.

    “We all know the outcome of the race before it even starts; it’s demoralizing,” she said.

    I think that sports should be divided by biological sex rather than gender.

    I personally can't wait to see transgender males in female synchronised swimming competitions, that will be a beauty to behold :D

    Sports is the one area where I think Biological Sex overrides gender.

    Muscle development amongst genetic males is superior to genetic females, and allowing MtF Trans folks to participate in F based sports is unethical.

    That said, I doubt I'd have any issues with any FtM Trans participating in M based sports though I wonder if they would be allowed due to the elevated testosterone levels

    Isn't the moral of the story that we're supposed to feel sorry for the girls who were excluded because the state allowed folks to self determine their competitive pool so they could win? Isn't this the same kind of structural equality women have been demanding for the last century or so? Is it really all that surprising that when you allow for real equity in sports that women aren't going to be able to compete?

    Must we always go with "separate, but equal" for women?

    There's been a LOT of that going around since oBozo was elected and emboldened many, many on the lib/prog side to lie, cheat, and exhibit their "freakishnesses".

    I agree.

    I just googled and apparently Equestrian is the only coed mixed-gender Olympic sport. (NASCAR is also, but it isn't an Olympic sport.) I wonder if all sports will have to switch to coed as the only way around the trans issue. Of course, that will also probably largely be the end of women succeeding in most sports. They really should divide sports by sex and not by chosen "gender".

    I am fine with the fact that some people just don't feel like the gender they are born into and want to dress and act like the gender they want to identify with. But we have to understand that they are still very much physically the sex they were born with and this has implications for competitive sports.

    A coed sports will wipe women out of competitive sports. A better solution is to assign by biological sex.

    There are some competitive events where it makes no sense to separate men and women, like billiards and chess, but they do. But events where physical ability is required need to be separated by men and women.

    BTW, do the boys in this story use the girl's locker room?
