Strzok rewrote Comeys exhoneration letter months in advance to remove "gross negligence" in his Statement, and Comey took it and went with it.

While her warning itself was not likely possible to prosecute as it is little different than flashing your headlights to warn of police ahead - for which you could argue you were letting people know about police ahead in case they needed to talk to the police - it did become to prosecute for her declaring her motive was to help people avoid being arrested and detained. In short, her explanation established criminal motive.

The DOJ will not pursue prosecution. Jeff Sessions took the job - and then declared he is on permanent paid leave of absence.

 

I did not see anywhere that Trump suggested ignoring due process. If relevant laws were broken, and prosecution could be undertaken, is it not the duty of the Department of Justice to provide justice?
