That was really showing signs of his age, but what was even MORE embarassing was watching Stefanik try to spin that to various reporters.

I cannot find a link to the video I saw this AM, but she started with "That isn't a mixup", then went directly to Biden.

Now that was embarassing because she's not old, just spellbound...

This is something I don't see discussed. We all remember Trump on 60 minutes bragging about how he "aced" a cognitive test. He did it again, just recently, on the campaign trail.

This test is a diagnostic tool. I'm 60 years old and I have never taken that test.

Just like a COVID test or a Cancer screening, they don't just administer this for the heck of it. You have to show symptoms of Covid or Cancer and then they administer the test to see if there is actually something there.

Think about that.

They didn't just administer this test to Trump for the heck of it. Someone, most likely a doctor, saw signs of cognitive decline in Trump and this test was administered to confirm it.

Now Trump may have well "aced it". I don't know and, for purposes of what I'm saying here, I don't care.

My concern is that someone somewhere thought that Trump needed to take the test. Someone thought that Trump showed symptoms of cognitive decline and they administered the test to determine if it was actual cognitive decline.

For all the talk of Biden's cognitive issues, we don't have anything to show that he was administered this test.

You have to ask yourself, why was Trump given the test?

 

Was that rhetorical? If not, it's because he's shown clear cognitive decline since at least late 2018, when I first noticed his speech contained worrying aspects (and coincidentally when I fully stopped watching anything more than a brief unavoidable clip, like this thread episode)

I think the more interesting take instead of why he was given the test was how somebody solid it to him as some sort of intelligence test to get him to take it... That's how you handle 7 year olds, not fully grown adults...

 

It wasn't really a rhetorical question. As I said, I don't remember seeing anyone even ask the question.

It's a question that NEEDS to be answered. This guy is a leading contender for the President of the United States. If someone saw something that led to the administration of a cognitive test we, the people, should know what that is.

I was here on earth during Obama’s administration.

25% conservatives didn’t think Obama was US citizen to be POTUS.

Every other day someone from conservative world would demand to see Obama’s birth certificate.

Trump going from one media to another media and telling people trump has proof that Obama was born in Kenya.

Trump told media he sent investigation in Hawaii and they found evidence that Obama was not born in USA.

In Fox news, they were calling Obama “Racist toward white people”. Everyday at 4 pm Glenn Beck dedicated 1 hour to prove Obama is racist and Obama hate White Americans.

The entire political concept of “Tea Party “ was “Obama changing America forever”.

The cognitive experts here on PF know that when Trump says something like how the Continental Army took control of airports in the Revolutionary War that's trust Trump "misspeaking" but if Biden said the same thing that would be signs of his complete mental collapse.
