Never sue anyone for what? Go find a “billionaire” or really wealthy rich dude with loads of business that doesn’t sue anyone. I’ll wait while you come up empty.

Has he tried to eliminate his political opposition by imprisoning them through frivolous lawsuits and piles of so called “crimes”? NOPE. That’s just the Dems. Don’t YOU PEOPLE understand that you started all this on day 1. If you just treated him like a normal guy he would have burried himself or been perfectly fine for the country but you couldnt let it go. You were all so DERANGED when he won you lost your collective minds.

so suing is ok if a rich person does it

Trump will never go to prison, he may be found guilty, may violate probation like crazy, but will never see the inside of a jail cell, he is above the law

We could be like the right....

Suing is always OK of its legitimate. Trump doesn’t sue anyone any more than any other rich guy sues someone. You’re acting like he’s unique or something:) That’s part of business. Amazing Dems never cared about DESTROYING him for decades before he became president. They LOVED him. Speaks volumes.

Who cares about words of a crowd. It’s the actions. ONLY Dems are trying to imprison the opposition. ONLY Dems are trying to win an election by not having anyone to run against. Using states to just erase him off the ballot? That’s INSANE!

Rumor has it that he's been relocating businesses to Florida, trying to hide assets from the various courts, but that's just a rumor at this point.

Is he appealing any of these judgements? According to the OP, he doesn't have the money for appeals.

IF he wins his appeal that would cancel the debt, so there would be no interest.

The rules and law that created them apply to all in his situation. There is no “double standard”.

The only time Trump ever told the truth was when he told Howard Stern that if Ivanka weren't his daughter, he would date her. Eew.

Excessive in whose opinion? The courts certainly don't see it that way, and neither do I.

"You gotta pay your bills." Is that not what Trump said to NATO countries?

    Pony up, Donnie.

Not to mention Clarence Thomas' refusal to recuse himself, thereby breaking a federal law.

We are obviously well past the time when the SCOTUS justices could be trusted to hold to the law instead of their own biases.

Sorry, not how our system works. And you do realize that he was saying that for a defendant that wanted a speedy trial...right?

    Indeed.

The Law says...you can appeal if you pay in to Court (or get a bond etc) 120% of the Judgment amount you are seeking to overturn. That is writ in stone. It is the Law.

Humpty*** wants the Court to make him*** (he*** is so special, and just because he*** is so special) exempt from the Law because it might hurt him*** if he*** has to comply with the Law. FMD.......that is what happens when you commit fraud! (The Courts don't have power to make anyone exempt from the application of the Law.)

He*** is saying to the Court, "Sure, you have just convicted me*** of murder, and handed me*** the death sentence, all according to Law, but please don't execute me*** 'cause it will hurt, and Melania will be upset if you do that! Please Court, help me*** evade the Law!"

    Far cough!

Good point. That defendant was claiming innocence, right? That's what innocent defendants all want, speedy trials.

Trump is claiming innocence. Haven't you wondered why he is trying so hard to delay, delay, delay? Innocent defendants don't often do that.

You claim he's trying to delay. He's simply availing himself of the system to avoid a 50/50 gamble that does have a tendency to send innocent people to prison.

It wasn’t just the mechanics, it was the brazen exaggeration.

Yes, real estate professionals try and talk value down for the tax assessor, and talk them up for the bank.

But not by claiming that a condo is three times its actual size, or valuing a half full building as if it were full, or arbitrarily overvaluing properties (like Mar A Lago)

    I never doubted that.

Trump was either totally broke, or on the verge of it most of his career.

His real estate empire is mortgaged to its overvalued eyeballs. That’s the way Trump operates. He drains the equity out of his properties and pockets the cash to support his image.

Meanwhile, he markets his “upscale” brand to a lowbrow audeience.

    If you believe that . . .

It's all about delay. This is his lifelong pattern, ffs. He wants no trials and no convictions before the election, because if he wins, he can have whatever lapdog he appoints as AG to drop all federal cases. He's using the system to delay because in his experience, that's how he has always avoided accountability.

Trump does not deserve your loyalty, nor your excuses for him.
