He sent Cohen to hush her and he did and she did, did you miss that in the trial. It was Daniels who decided to extort him when he announced he was running.

There was nothing illegal about the catch and kill and there was nothing in the indictment about McDugall.

Yes, the Daniels matter hurt their family and one reason he was hushing it up.

Uhm it was the falsified business records. The jury managed to understand the charges. Is his dementia so bad that he couldn’t understand?

Good, then we agree that Trump used the Catch-and-Kill scheme in an attempt to hide the affairs to influence the election. If you don’t agree, then it’s a denial, because 2 witnesses stated as much.

As the John Edwards case demonstrates, being both about personal reasons and the election makes it perfectly legal.

Jury didn’t find another reason. Maybe he should have testified.

Of course they did. Judge ruled that they couldnt consider Hope Hicks testimony as to the other reason. As well the Judge wouldnt allow testimony as to the FEC law that states as such.

Yeah, Trump should have testified. The jury would have found the same verdict in half the time, and everybody could have gotten back to work earlier.

Would it be for you? If you cheated on your significant other and the person you cheated with threaten to post it on Facebook would it matter to you?

The prosecution's own witnesses testified Trump had nothing to do with how the payments were recorded was he supposed to refute that or something?

What in the prosecution's case required his testimony to refute? If what he would testify to would harm his case why on earth would he ever do so?

But given the, probably making for a reversible error, wide latitude the judge gave the prosecution to allow Daniels to deeper and deeper into her sordid tale just imagine what he would have allowed Bragg to get away with with Trump on the stand. He already said he would allow a WIDE discretion on where Bragg could go with his cross.

And threw in the tax charge AFTER Trump no longer had a chance to defend himself.

The judge might as well have instructed them "and if you don't like Trump and think he has committed crimes and gotten away with all his life you can vote guilty and don't even have to agree on what any crimes were and he only had to INTEND to commit them doesn't even have to have done them"

This is all about getting the mantra "Convicted Felon Trump".

The question now is will the CNN moderators bring it up in the debate and how.

What law says a candidate cannot attempt to influence the outcome of an election? Where did Bragg get the jurisdiction to bring such a charge?????

I speak English, and If I’m on the jury I take Blanche’s statement as a “denial”. From there, I wouldn’t be able believe anything he said.

Oh what nonsense. If it did, you would have simply copy and pasted the statement here.

My point was that Blanche held the Trump line, and lied about that. Once that was ascertained, the Trump legal team lost all respect from the jury.

If I cared about her finding out I wouldn’t cheat, and not with a sex worker.

Why the business didn't make the payments, HE made the payments from his PRIVATE PERSONAL checking account did you not pay attention to the trial?

But if you did..............a perfectly normal and even expected reason and the prosecution's own witnesses testified Melania and his personal affairs were a major concern. There goes any campaign finance violation so what is this "other crime" they had to find him guilty and why wasn't he told?

What line and what lie? If Blanche told a purposeful lie he can be sanctioned by the court I have not heard that he has. The Trump legal team was not on trial TRUMP was and they don't have to prove anything. It was up to Bragg to prove BEYOND A REASONABLE doubt.

So far I STILL don't know what crime he committed. Bragg never proved Trump had any involvement in how the payments were made. It matter not a twit to anyone but Trump himself how it was entered. It was a private record. So what was the crime. Bragg never proved Trump was willfully doing anything criminal the NDA and payments being perfectly legal and no law says he has to report it to anyone.

AND we STILL don't know what is this "other crime" the jury found he committed which is the ONLY way Bragg could have brought back to life the minor record entry misdemeanor.

This thing is wide open to be overturned on appeal but then that does not matter, Bragg and Merchan got the Biden campaign what they wanted.
