One thing to remember, it was the grand jury who voted to indict. I really don't know if Bragg has the discretion not to act on the vote. But these were ordinary citizens who found compelling evidence of the commission of a crime.

 

That's a Federal law. A county DA can't prosecute a Federal law.

 

I love how they are all like “we are going to get even now” like they haven’t been trying to tie Biden to everything. Just like they did with Hillary

The issue is they cannot get a conviction

If you are going to indict a President, regardless of party, do it for something big. This case was not the one to do it for - and it will increase, not decrease, the chances of the potential nightmare of Trump winning in 2024

So what? It has nothing to do with the charges here, they do not hinge on for what were the payments, this is about how the money was reported in business records. There was nothing illegal about any sex that may have occurred. There was nothing illegal with the NDA and payment for it. Why would Stormy even be called she has no knowledge about how Cohen and Trump handled the matter between themselves.

Shouldn’t have to be big, so long as the charges are legit. We don’t have 2 justice systems, or we shouldn’t.
Someone’s criminal acts benefiting them should not be an impediment to prosecution

So you agree the payment was on Trumps behalf? He had denied that at various times. Obviously the reason for the payment is relevant for if it was about the election, if he was even indicted for campaign finance issues.
