Yes, the big difference is the Republican Party base want Trump as their nominee, the RNC and Republican Party leaders prefer someone else. It’s the DNC and Democratic Party leaders that want Biden, they have done everything within their power to ensure Biden wasn’t challenged by a viable, prominent Democrat while their base wants someone other than Biden. One nominee is bottom driven, the base, the other nominee is top driven, the DNC and Democratic Party leaders.

I might add that the Democrats are more anti-Trump than pro-Biden while the Republicans are much more pro-Trump than anti-Biden.

I wouldn't be so cocky. The left already has a plan B, C and D and a warehouse full of pre-selected Biden ballots ready to drop at 3am election night. They also could commit a crime and then deepfake trump onto it out of desperation. Lots of stuff these SHADY people can still do in the name of their hate for their country.

Any evidence that ANY of that is true?

    ANY?

I have not seen the RNC promote anyone else, and Dems have not had any other credible candidates raise up, which is not surprising when an incumbent is running for re-election.

That's hard to believe given the fact that the Republicans say Biden's name with every breath they take, but its true that Dems are not very pro-Biden, which might leave them being more anti-Trump than pro-Biden, but so are their voters, as are independents.

Critical parts of the DP base are now rejecting Biden. The astonishing kicker: All of this MSM criticism of Israel and hence Biden has even managed to generate Muslim support for Trump.
JRB should be a sure winner, but, like Trump, he has to keep watching his back.

Black, Hispanic and young voters abandon Biden, new poll ...

Yes...gaping A holes on BOTH sides rioted when they didn't get their way. Apparently there are people on BOTH sides of the aisle who don't have appropriate coping skills.

I’m not so sure about independents. In today’s YouGov poll independents are going to Trump 38-34 with 13% voting other.

    https://d3nkl3psvxxpe9.cloudfront.net/documents/econTabReport_H1zTWuF.pdf

In the Harvard/Harris poll, independents are going for Trump 55-45 in a two-candidate race. In a three-candidate race, independents are going 38-26 Trump over Biden with 23% going to RFK Jr.

    https://harvardharrispoll.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/HHP_Jan24_KeyResults.pdf

According to CNN/SSRS independents are going to Trump 46-42 in a two-candidate race.

and so on. In almost every poll Trump leads Biden among independents.

I disagree about Biden being a sure winner. History shows that a sitting president seeking reelection with an overall job approval of below 50% has lost. Ford in 1976, Carter in 1980, G.H.W. Bush in 1992 and Trump in 2020. All four had a job approval below 45%. Biden is currently sitting at 40% overall job approval.

Biden should lose big if history is any indication. But the fact his opponent is Trump, it’s a 50-50 race. Trump’s favorable is at 41% vs. Biden’s 40% favorable.

Biden certainly should lose if his approval numbers do not rise, but as a sitting POTUS he is in a position to act in ways that can attract supporters.
November is coming, but not for a while.

The economy isn't "doing great", it's only improved.

The open borders immigration bill isn't the kind of reform that most people want...lol

Trump could lock himself in Biden's basement and not do one damn thing and the country would be far better off than re-electing Biden.

Putting Trump anywhere near the White House is asking for trouble.

I'd rather have Biden than Trump six days a week and twice on Sunday.

Trump th econman... LOL He just did about everything he promised and fulfilled the promises the professional politicians ( the true con men) had made.. I'm looking forward to the lowest unemployment numbers ( the real ones) , cheap energy, and no new wars.

I agree! The left is absolutely filled with petty vindictive partisans that are willing to compromise and pervert the institutions of our legal system to attempt to get their way.

    Fully agree.

Certainly if the election was held today. The RP/DP seldom offer good positive reasons for voting for their politicians.
'None of these candidates' won the Nevada primary election.

None of the above needs to be an option on all state’s ballots. It’d probably win more than anyone thinks.

    Very closely.

You have obviously forgotten how things went form 2017-2021, especially the period from Early November of 2020 up to Jan 7,2021

Quite frankly, he shouldn't need anything else.

Meanwhile all Trump is running on is lies and misinformation.
    Because that's all he has.
