Former President Donald Trump criticized the January 6 Committee as another partisan sham. In a statement Thursday, he said the Democrat-controlled panel is a “unselect committee of political thugs.” Trump stressed, the committee includes the same group of people who were pushing the false Russia collusion hoax and then denied the obvious evidence of fraud in the 2020 elections.

The 45th President made his comments just ahead of the January 6 show trial. Trump also said the Democrat committee knows he was asking for 20,000 National Guard or troops to be deployed at the US Capitol ahead of the protest, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi turned down the offer.

Meanwhile, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) echoed the sentiments while suggesting Democrats are playing politics….

This OAN news report about what President Trump said regarding the star chamber kangaroo court created by democrats was very informative. A great hard news current events story that can not in any reasonable or objective way be considered anything else but news. In my own opinion Trump was exactly right to say what he did and conservative news sources are right to report on his comments regarding that hearing about him as real news.

Please note that it is a hard news article reporting on what Trump and members of congress said, and deplete what some said, includes not so much as one word of the news caster or reporters own opinion in it. It is a flat out lie to maintain that this news article contains any authors personal opinion in the sources report. Yet more bias against conservative news sources assuming that a repetition of conservative political leaders statements is somehow the reporters personal opinion.

What OAN said is not true for two reasons. Nancy Pelosi is not in charge of Capital security and therefore could not reject the offer. and there is no time that can be found before January 6 when then President Trump publically made such an offer.

Democrat political leaders had a history the prior year of declining national guard to deal with domestic disturbances in their jurisdictions so it was no surprise that the Speaker and Mayor declined it here to prevent something that they wanted to happen yet again.

finally, if trump offered these troops (it was 10,000 until last week when trump doubled ti 20,000, but whatever, we both know that trump is no good with numbers) he should be happy to provide that order to the committee.

But wait…why would there be a need for troops for a peaceful protest? Surely there is a record of his asking for these troops. Let’s see it. Why hasn’t Trump produced it?
