    The president is in charge of the DC National Guard, with his authority delegated at the time to the Secretary of the Army. They can talk to Pelosi if they want to, but the Speaker of the House is not in a position to reject their activation decisions even if she wanted to.

    Let me ask you a question. And point out why this committee is a sham.

    Let’s assume that the committee found documentation PROVING Trump asked for that national guard presence and it was rejected.

    Do you think the committee would submit that as evidence and present it before the people?

    Nothing ever answers your questions because you live in a parallel reality where Trump won the election and he is in no way responsible for the riot on 1/6.

    Yet, his closest associates (even his daughter and son-in-law) came forward and testified to the Commission that Trump knew he lost and that the voter fraud story was a complete fabrication.
