    Why does your link not mention what Trump doesn't like about it?

    You would think that would be an important fact when discussing this issue or maybe the author just wanted to attack Trump instead.

    He wants to repeal section 230 which gives companies like facebook immunity from what their users post. Odd that Trump actually supported section 230 when it helped HIM get elected in 2016. Odd huh....

    That’s how he got elected was with false Facebook posts. He said that Facebook was a “free enterprise” and any attempt at changing them would be “censorship” which he said he would not support

    He also threatened a veto to try to force lawmakers to include provisions — unrelated to the military and national defense — to punish social media companies he claims were biased against him during the election.

    it would be too, if Trump got his way, sites like political forums would be responsible legally for every post, which means they would have to review every post before it goes public and censor on the side of caution

    A lot of weirdness in legislation. Politicians love to stick unrelated things into bills all the time. They need to tighten up the rules. I'm all for ending section 230 but it doesn't belong in a defense budget bill. I'm also all for bringing our troops home the reducing the cost of military by a lot. But I stand alone in that opinion.

    Which is exactly why Trump is desperate to include section 230 in the defense bill. (Which won't happen.)

    So Twitter and other social media cannot censor him outright.

    Trump might as well have asked to include 230 in a bill that funds piano-lessons for cats.

    Like he thinks we don't know what he's up to...

    Let’s talk about disinformation I watched in real time this morning on Good Morning America.

    They talked about all the good news with the vaccine and followed it with Biden and Kamala approving of the efforts. Not THEIR efforts since they didn’t do ****. Then then shifted to a few families who suffered deaths, younger people mind you, on the rare side of who is actually dying. They wouldn’t want to be honest and show elderly. Nope!! They had to show a youngish mother, who from the look of her had obvious preexisting conditions. Then they followed that up with Trump.

    So what did they do? Simple narrative 101. They connected the vaccine with Biden something he had NOTHING to do with. This makes people connect good with Biden. Then they show death and connect that with Trump. Trump=bad!!! And the pictures they showed were also an extreme contrast. Biden and Kamala looked nice. Trump had this contorted scowl half open mouth obviously mid sentence and they made him look extra orange by increasing the chroma. That is the horrible manipulation of what the MSM has been doing for 4 years. Its NOT news. It’s pure propaganda and it’s why the MSM can’t be trusted anymore. Total dirt bags.

    And right now they’re making such a big deal over Kamal like she actually accomplished something. She was LAUGHED out of the primaries. Booted early on. No one liked her!!! They ONLY reason she is here is she is female and black, exactly what Biden said. Transparent BS.
