    And neither party seems willing to attack the root cause as the US is addicted to cheap labor, so a wall is the next best thing. They are coming here because incentives exist.

    I wonder if we’ll be seeing many slats just cut down using Oxy-Fuel torches. Probably end up with a slat down every few miles or so.

    Okay. Here is the compromise.
    The new wall is a slat wall just like the current ones.
    I just heard Trump say concrete, slat, I don't care.
    The current bill calls for 1.6 billion for current type wall. So everybody can be happy again.

    It's rather obvious all you care about is raising sh't. There are better solutions--ones that would do more to stop illegals from crossing the border--but you're going to support the Bloviator-in-Chief because that's more important to you than solving problems. It's not your property the illegals threaten. You remind me of rich folks who aren't losing their jobs to illegals, so they don't care about illegals coming here.

    Not sure, but there is a comprehensive website at that link. I am not sure anyone can answer your question, due to the under the table nature of their arrangments. I suspect they are a net loss, overall.
