    Those who did violence, assaulted anyone, engaged in vandalism, theft, or simple trespassing or parading in an off limits area should get similar consequences whether they did it in 2020 or 2021.

    Again, I agree completely. I'm fine with civil protesting, but you cross a line when you trespass, steal, vandalize, or cause violence.

    Nothing that happened during the riots that happened in conjunction with the demonstrations over George Floyd's murder threatened the fundamental operation of These United States. None of the 2019 riots were an attempt to overturn an election. Most of the riots you speaker of were instigated by anarchists from across the political spectrum including white supremacists and tRaitor tRump supporters.
