    I said at the time he should not hold the rally that day, do it some other time. Bit that doesn't make him responsible for the few who against all his statements otherwise engaged in violence and at Capitol for some unknown reason was totally lacking in the security it had been repeatedly advised to have in place.

    They attacked and set afire federal and local courthouses. They trapped police in their building and set it afire. They forcibly took over and occupied parts of major cities in their insurrections causing huge proepery loses and even deaths.

    So some insurrection is OK and some is not?

    I'm still trying to process why everyone on the planet hasn't come to terms with him clearly being a paranoid psychopath. If his name wasn't Trump, he's be fingerpainting in some random psychiatric hospital in a penitentiary somewhere.

    Not to mention that they breached the US Treasury department building, tried to burn down a national landmark church, attacked national monuments, and besieged the White House, injuring dozens of secret service persons causing the secret service to move the President and his family to the bunker as a precaution in case of a breach. All this happened in DC late May to early June 2020 but the attack on the executive branch then was never considered a insurrection by those who call Jan 6 by that label.

    It's because it just looks like too much; what with being schizophrenic, bipolar, clinically depressed,demented and not very smart overall. An embarrassment of riches in mental maladies. He reminds me of the Gahan Wilson cartoon where we are looking over the shoulder of an analyst listening to a patient and the analyst has written "JUST PLAIN NUTS" in big block letters on his pad.

    Those words, in this weekend's New York Post, may be the tabloid's strongest critique of Trump yet.

    It was published online on Friday evening, around the same time another Murdoch publication, the Wall Street Journal, also published an editorial harshly critiquing the former president.

    Ol' Rupert is figuring this out a bit late. More importantly, though, Trump is like a turd that won't flush. He doesn't care who or how many people condemn him or how harshly they do it, and neither do his adoring cult followers.

    It's going to be an interesting primary come 2024 if (and when) Trump makes it official that he is running again.

    And one of those liars we have on video, yet he is NOT in jail or charged with anything. And there were plenty of other on scene. Yet Democrats want to jail the president who never told anyone to violently do anything or enter the capital.
