Yes, he is "different". But that dose not imply in a positive way. In fact the opposite. People with psychological disorders are "different'. He would fall into THAT category. His lack of empathy, compassion, remorse, projection, (paranoia) narcissism, callous indifference to others by making fun of them, (inhumane) etc are all of a pathological degree. Many destructive leaders in history had similar characteristics and qualities. They also had certain persuasive skills that drew peple to them with almost fanatical loyalty.
None of the above are qualities for a leader of a free nation. Oh and the law / social rules are not for him. In his mind he has no boundaries and that is a problem. He has to CONTROL everything and does it in a negative/ destructive way.
The only reason he is where he is , is becasue he had and has money. THAT is what has given him the power he so loves. Now he wants even more/ absolute power . Like an under developed child he CRAVES attention. Prefers positive , but will accept any....as long as he is in the forefront of the news/ media. His conduct is attention seeking at it's root. He is also emotionally immature. ( and behaviorally irresponsible )

No one is excusing them, if they broke the law they deserve to be punished but this has been both a selective prosecution and a disproportionate punishment.
