We need to make sure Trump does not win in November, can you imagine pardoning all those insurrectionist felons?!! If this does happen, it time to take away the power to pardon from the president too?!! If there is any justice in this country, Trump will be a convicted felon too?!!

WASHINGTON - Former President Donald Trump said his first-day agenda as president will include pardoning people convicted of crimes related to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, reviving his defense of the post-election insurrection that was part of his GOP primary campaign.

The GOP nominee-in-waiting now says that plans to "free" Jan. 6 prisoners as part of a first-day agenda that includes sealing the border and increasing oil and gas production.

"My first acts as your next President will be to Close the Border, DRILL, BABY, DRILL, and Free the January 6 Hostages being wrongfully imprisoned!" Trump said Monday on his Truth Social website.

Opponents of Trump said he is kowtowing to lawbreakers, in this case people who threatened violence in an effort to overturn their candidates' loss to President Joe Biden.

“Donald Trump has shown he’ll do whatever it takes to hold on to power – including excusing and encouraging political violence," Sarafina Chitika, a spokesperson for the Biden campaign.

More than 1,300 people have been charged with various offenses related to the insurrection of Jan. 6, 2021; about 500 people have been sentenced to prison terms.

How do you plan on taking away the president's pardon power?

Several of the rioters were sentenced to more than 10 years in prison for wounding police officers with iron bars, stunt guns, tasers....

Do you agree that Trump should pardon them?

That’s a lie. The guilty were convicted. The mindless useful idiots were cut loose.
Apparently, our justice system works, which is why trump is facing so many felony counts for his crimes.
Too bad that don’t fit your maga whine about witch hunts, eh?

Should the charges have been dropped against the Inauguration Day riots? What about the George Floyd riots? Most of those charges were dropped on them. The two lawyers that threw Molotov cocktails at NYPD officer got probation, no Federal charges, though.

That's all ok. Ain't it? Why sure it, because you take pause for their cause. Violence is ok if YOU agree with the reason for it.

The rioters were convicted by the courts, often before juries, and hundreds pleaded guilty.

Moreover, those who received the heaviest sentences were filmed committing acts of violence.

So I repeat my question: do you agree that Trump pardon MAGA who have injured policemen?

    Never.

Their reality has replaced the one before.

If Trump told them the Earth was flat, hundreds of thousands of MAGAs would no longer believe it was round.

71% of MAGA believe Trump more than their own family members.

    Cult.

That's not the point. What's relevant is if he should pardon those people.
