It also looks like that his fanclub KNEW that he was just making stuff up, because there were no protests. Or, could it be that he is overplaying his hand with his call for protests, overestimating how many devoted followers he has that are willing to go to jail for him for rioting, only to be left there to rot by dear leader?

The FBI wasn't spying, they were conducting an investigation into potentially criminal behavior. We have posters here like @popscott explaining how suspicion is enough to launch an investigation. Well, they were suspicious and they investigated.

Speaking of partisanship, that's what the MAGA type and current Republicans are best at. The Republican majority in the Senate let the Orange Stain off 3 times for partisan political power retention.

If you can't see these things, your partisanship is impacting your ability to be objective.

Well, members of his campaign were meeting with people tied to Russian intelligence and the campaign was being contacted by people saying that the Russian government was trying to help them. Some campaign members even wanted to meet with said Russians about dirt on Clinton. So, yeah, that's at least enough for a counterintel investigation. Hell, one of them had been part of of counterintel investigations involving Russia even before he was in the campaign.

Simple question. How much money has been spent on all these investigations, and how many indictments have resulted? And futher how many guilty verdicts?

 

I don't know how much money has been spent. Do you ? What price justice ? Is there a limit to how much is allowed to be spent ? If it's above a certain level does
the investigation automatically end ?

BTW, were the 11 indictments and 7(I think) felony convictions of Trump's associates(Bannon, Barrack, Broidy, Cohen, Flynn, Gates, Manafort, Nader, Papadopoulos,Stone and Weisselberg ). If you're worried about spending, I think the marginal cost of prosecuting the Trump gang is going down.
